Dog peed on another dog's head

We took our dog a 7 month old cocker spaniel to the pet store today. He is very friendly and gets along with most dogs, even when the dog is barking at him.

But, he was playing with one of the male dogs and before I knew what happened, he lifted his leg and peed on the dog's head! Now, when he first met this dog in the store this dog was rude and was barking at him. But, then they seemed to be playing fine.

I don't know what to make of this situation.

I know that dogs lift their leg and pee in spots to mark territory.

But, I have never heard of a dog peeing on another dog's head.

Should I be worried? Concerned? How do I stop this behaviour? Before, anybody asks, no, he is not neutered yet.

ha ha ha ha ha I've had that happen before but amongst my own dogs. What did the owner say? that's kind of funny. Not for you in the moment though I'm sure As far as I know it's not a big deal. I think it's only happened with my dogs once or twice.

Well it was quite embarassing at that time. But, when I think about it was kinda funny. I am just wondering what caused him to do it. And if I have to watch out for this type of behaviour in the future or if it is a one off thing.

The owner of the other dog was not amused. She picked her dog up and took him straight to the washroom to get him cleaned up.

Happened with my dog few times. He's 36" tall and a small dogs when sniffing him would go you know where, at that moment he would start marking and it went all over the small dog.

so funny, but other owners got pissed at their dogs for that

Oh dear lol..I've had it happen with Max peeing on Sugar's head and my friends little dogs. But it's not deliberate, its when we are entering the off leash Park and Max has a wee on the tree, all the other little ones have to get under him, so they get a some drips on their heads LOL

Comet did it to our neighbors dog they let there dogs run loose during the day and bring them in at night well one kept coming on oour property and barking at Comet one day i guess he had enough he walke dover to the dog and well.... peed on his head

Its a dominance thing. He was just letting the little guy know who's boss.
