I noticed today that my dogs nose is running clear but when he dog sneezed some yellowish green mucus shot out. He is alive and full of energy, has no stool problems and hasn't lost his appetite. I have been blowing my nose like crazy lately as well. All the flowers are starting to bloom around here and he loves snuffling everything. Could it be that he has alergies? Is there anything I could try to rid him of this before bringing him in to the vet?

I probably wouldn't get too worried unless I noticed some other symptoms or the dog started acting abnormally. Keep an eye out for any changes in activity, eating or pooping.

You think I should take him in right away or give it a day or two and see if it passes? He has no other symptoms, he isn't coughing or sneezing incessantly. He has the occasional sneeze and thats when it comes out. It usually happens right when he gets up from a nap.

Grammy, I agree. It's better to be safe than sorry. Give your vet a call.
