on the news they said by sat it will be a stretch of the hundred and aboves. Kansas City is a river valley..it traps that heat and holds it along with the pollution and humidity to cap it off..if you ever visit here...don't come the last two weeks of july or the first two weeks of August..people die during that time..i lost my grandmother and old lady crowthers, the same summer..the humidity makes it feel way hotter then that..no body can breath..you can feel it rain from the ground up..it will thunderstorm in the morning..and then evaporate in a few hours only to rain again...either that or it will simply bake everything into a brick where the leaves drop of the trees and the fish gasp in dryed up little puddles in the creek..before or after is usally very nice indeed..May is perfect.

When I visited Michigan last week I couldn't breathe... the air felt so thick! I would sweat like crazy and have a little trouble breathing when I was in the city...

Okay, 80 is hot 90 is way to hot anything over that... Wait I live in Alaska for a reason.

We do see temps over 80, rarely.

There is a reason I dont like to leave state in the summer.

Yeah, I had a football camp a couple years ago... it got 99 degrees! what made it worse was all my pads (shoulders pads, thigh and knee pad all that stuff)

I've been threatening to move to Alaska for years . . . mainly because of the weather! :D

I don't imagine Filas would care much for Alaska winters though, lol!

Summer . . . . I think it got misspelled long ago - it was meant to be spelled "SIMMER!

Going to be in the 90's today with 100% humidity. Supposed to be thunderstorms tonight to break the humidity. I went to the store early but came home fast. It's so hard to breathe out there.

Benn hot here too, but today has a nice breeze so it aint too bad. OC enjoys the basement during this heat, but in two years I'll be moving to North Pole, Alaska so then summers will be great!!!

Your only young once..the funniest thing i ever saw was GAlager, and i usually abhor his humour but he put a diaper on an achor and tossed it out on the stage..it was so true i had tears coming from my eyes i was laffing so hard..i raised both of my children by myself..and a good part of the neighborhood children as well..my house was the one they all came to, stayed and only went home when they had to...some of them came to stay..months at a time... I didn't have two, i had packs...
