because everyone was mentioning it i tried the AP one. i got bullterrier, not my first choice in purebred form. but there were a couple i'd consider the obvious ones were the plott, the B&T coonhound, the dale & the GSP. the rest were an assortment of terriers & the american water spaniel. the glenn, the dale & the spaniel mystify me since i picked least amount of grooming.

So I just took the K9 country one and this is my results:

100% match-
Shiloh Shepherd -- I don't know anything about these dogs except they are beautiful
Lab -- I don't mind a lab, but I want something a little different. I grew up with labs at my mom's house.

90% match-
Collie (rough and smooth) -- Don't know much about collies.
Retriever (flat coated and golden) -- I <3 Goldens but I don't know if I would own one.
Bernese Mtn Dog -- MY DREAM DOG! I have researched these dogs for years and I have met a few and love them.
Boxer -- My uncle and cousin owns one and I think they are goofy, adorable dogs but I don't think they are the dog for me.
Great Danes -- GDs are gorgeous dogs, but they are MASSIVE dogs and I don't know if I can handle a horse running through my house lol
Newfoundlands -- I think these dogs are beautiful and from what I can tell, they don't vary to much from the Bernese Mtn dogs.
Greater Swiss Mtn Dog -- Don't much about them. They look like short haired BMDs to me lol

And I won't write all the ones below 90% lol

Animal Planet gave me:
American Cocker Spaniel 99% (I'd consider having another)
Collie 99% (My heart breed)
Standard Poodle 99% (I am afraid of Poodles)
Golden Retriever 98% (I'd consider it)
English Cocker Spaniel 97% (I'd consider it)
Flat Coat Retriever 95% (I'd consider it)
Sheltie 95% (I'd really consider it)
Bearded Collie 95% (I'd consider it)

k9 Country Gave me:
Goldens 100% match
American Cockers 100% match
Labrador Retrievers 100% match (allergic)
Collie 90% Match (heart breed!)
Corgi (Cardigan) 90% match (I'd really consider it)
Corgi (Pembroke) 90% match (I'd really consider it)
Standard Poodle 90% match
Bearded Collie 90% match
West Highland White Terrier 95% (No thank you)

I found this to be funny. If I said I didn't mind extesive grooming, I got the Collie as number one on AP - Don't they know the breed comes in a Smooth Coat too??? LOL. Other than that, the list was pretty accurate and pretty much the same on both lists. There's only one breed I wouldn't consider and that's the Westie. I don't think Terriers and I would get along - though I do like them.

At least yours is somewhat consistent! Mine weren't even close... I don't know what happened :rofl1: I had to laugh at the collie/smooth collie thing as well. The grooming part always makes me laugh, because to me a sheltie coat is VERY wash and wear.... Especially compared to a Cocker (or a Shih Tzu, or a poodle) :p :p

Really? I would have thought the Sheltie would have required more grooming than a cocker - except for the expensive clips! lol
