I'm so excited!!! My mentor e-mailed me today telling me that they're gonna be building a new dogbox this summer that can hold 10 dogs and they were wondering if I wanted their current dog box that holds 8 dogs!!! Woohoo!!! I had started looking for one about a month ago as our team builds more and more and it becomes difficult to transport everyone in 1 vehicle. So I called my mentors up immediately and told them YES I wanted the dog box!!! I love it because the individual compartments are big enough to accomodate rather large dogs which means extra room for stuffing tons of straw which is especially important when overnighting. The metal plates on the doors can slide out so you can give treats/water/food without risking the dog escaping, or to just let him poke hi head out. I should be getting it in a couple weeks or so, in the mean time I just need to buy a new trailer (they're keeping the trailer portion to build the new box on). Another neat feature is on the inside there is about a 1inch gap between the partitions and the roof so dogs can touch noses with each other and know they arent alone without being able to fight or play.
