Does anyone know why dogs bite and tug on leash when they are close to home from a walk. We've had many dogs since i was a kid and it seems they all do the same thing? Coincidence I think not!! What could they be trying to tell us??
I've had dogs do this but never under certain circumstances. Is he excited to be going home? Maybe trying to pull the leash? We've had dogs try to basically "walk themselves" like this before.
try putting some bitter apple on the leash. Tastes bad.
