King likes going in, and doesn't get too rattled even when being poked when they draw blood. He really liked one of the vets and one of the assistants, but both are gone now. He likes the new doctor well enough, but I notice he doesn't look too happy when she checks him over when we go for his Cushing's checkups. He loved getting the same from the old vet, who retired after having a baby, at least temporarily. Molly is another thing entirely. I wouldn't be shocked if she keels over dead someday, as she is a mess before we even go into the office. By the time we get into the exam room, she's a mess, panting heavily, lips and eye rims are cherry red, and she's shaking like a leaf. By the time the doc comes in her pulse cannot be felt because it's so fast, and she is gulping and panting to the point I don't know how she gets enough air to keep from passing out. After say 15 minutes in the office, she gets home and passes out for a couple of hours at least. She's totally wiped out. She's the most stressed out dog I've ever seen at the vet that doesn't get nasty about it. She just looks and is, miserable.
