Dog generally keep out of water as long as they can. My Shine hates water and doesn't like going for a bath even when it hot

Our West Highland White Terrier does the same thing!! It doesn't rain all that much here ... but when it does he LOVES it, chasing rain drops and trying to catch them in his mouth. He blinks like crazy but it doesn't stop him, he's determined to catch the rain.
Does yours get all muddy, too ? :rofl1:

Lola doesn't mind the rain usually. Yesterday it was pouring and winds blowing 50Mph when I had her all setup to go out on her own (16 foot leash with me standing inside the door) she took one look outside and turned right around. She would not even go no where near the door after that. It was not until the afternoon when it stopped raining with the winds died down that I was finally able to get her outside.

Ivan, yes. He loves to play in it provided its not cold. And according to him the best part about rain is the PUDDLeS and MUDd that comes with it. Peewee Nope, no way no how, he would rather blow up first than go outside in it. He hates it for the same reasons Ivan loves it.

They both do not like it but Belle will at least go pee out there. Beezer HATES it and he will hold it FOREVER. He won't even set foot on wet grass lol.

Both of them hate it. They go to the door, I open it, they stick their heads out and turn right back around when they realize it's wet. It doesn't surprise me with Lucy. But Juno is the dog that loves baths, swimming, and is always up for sticking her head under running faucets and attacking the hose.

Harley is not a big fan of the rain either. I notice he doesn't take his time when let out to go to the bathroom if its raining. He does his business and trots back towards the dry house - strange for a dog that can't get enough of the water!

Little bit. If it happens to dry somewhat while he's still out, it brushes right out of his coat. Otherwise he gets carried (at arms length) straight to the sink to be rinsed off.

But either way, until his next bath with the whitening stuff ... he's just not quite his normal snow-white. More like a West Highland Cream Terrier.

WHY do normally white-white-snow-white dogs seem to LOVE mud, rolling in grass, etc? <sigh>

The rain rinsed all the mud off mine. :D
I am so glad, she is so easy to clean. :rofl1:
