Just like the title says!

Fable absolutely ADORES kids. It is the sweetest thing ever. And even though she can be pretty shy/aloof with new people (especially men), she will always solicit attention from little kids. There was a little girl at the park a few days ago that loved Fable, and she sat there and was asking her to do tricks and petting her for a good 10 minutes. And Fable was so patient and cuddled right up to her.

Lucy came from a family with small kids. From what I have seen she is good with small kids.

This is a relief for me as Blue did not like kids.

Blitz is such a hurricane I never had him around kids other than my son. He is good with him in general other than the occasional knocking over. I do think blitz likes Case but he likes most people who don't yell when he shakes water on them or does some other blitz thing.

Truman calm and perfect off button and case loves that he stretches out by him. I think he likes Case but not as much as blitz. He still has his pup moments so I've been very careful with them.

I wish Byron had lived another two years. I could trust him with anything or anyone. He loved kids. I'm hoping that's what I'm getting with Truman.

Now Case looooves the cats and they do not return that feeling!

They're good with kids but they don't necessarily get excited about them... basically they just react to kids the same way they react to anyone else. Well Juno thinks they're pretty cool when they run around and play with her.

Brisbane is significantly less reactive around kids, and is very careful to move slowly and gently. He gets charged by toddlers on the beach occasionally and will stand by patiently while they pick up the ball or take it out of his mouth and toss it a couple of feet, then carefully walk around them to pick it up again. (During which the parent is generally freaking out about their kid reaching into a strange dog's mouth...) I don't have him around kids while he's resting though, and not around my grabby nephew at all because he can't handle having his tail grabbed.

Ru is bombproof and among other things has had a toddler run up to him while he was chilling on a chair, grab his face, and give him a big kiss on the lips. He can be a little overwhelming with tots under a certain height because he gets excited about being able to jump up and lick someone in the face.

Foster puppy Xena is equally shy with adults and kids so far, but I haven't had any kids try to greet her yet. Her sisters were all extra-happy to see kids in stores and on the street.

Sirius loves kids.. Full body wiggles when he sees them although he gets a little "herdy" when they jump and squeal but he's easily stopped. Laika likes kids to an extent. She prefers the quiet non rambunctious kids. She absolutely adores my sisters friends daughter. They have the same energy level (very lazy) and she's a very quiet kid who just wants to sit there and pet Laika (her favorite thing)

Rip LOOOOOOVES kids....to sickening levels. Pretty sure one could hit him with a hard toy and he not hold a grudge. Oh wait, that has happened. :p

Knarly...Not really. He use to want to chase them in his younger years, but now that he's older, I think they'd probably make him nervous. Not sure, I don't expose him to anything I may think stressful if I can help it [not that kids are real common in this house].

Ro...calmer kids, he's fine. Babies or anything wild...nope.

Sam loves loves loves kids and he's so polite around toddlers. It's like he knows he shouldn't jump on them so he either sits or rolls over for belly rubs.

Wilson thinks kids are terrifying and noisy (he's super noise sensitive) and I would not trust him around the majority of them. Maybe a calm, older child but definitely no screaming grabby toddlers.

Gambit hates them. To be fair, he hates adults too.

Gimmick doesn't like them either. Too loud, too grabby, too many sudden movements.

Glitch is a tramp and loves anyone who looks twice at him

Both are good around kids, but I watch them both pretty carefully.

Meg loves getting pats from them, and is very polite and soft with kids. Out in public, I really wouldn't worry about her at all. But she does like to be able to take a break when she's around kids for a long time at home, and on one occasion when she was resting under a table and the kid started going under the table to get her, she did growl and moved away. I don't think she'd carry it any further, but I make sure to just move her out of the room when she asks to be done.

Gusto thinks kids are pretty fun, but he can get over-excited a little easily with them running around and screaming, and I don't trust his self-control in those situations. I think he'd get jumping and wound up. When things get wild, he gets put on leash.

Both dogs were with me in the parking lot of an agility trial last weekend, and happily accepted lots of love from two very young kids. They do great in situations like that.

Not so much. He doesn't "dislike" them, and isn't scared of them. He just doesn't care for them, and doesn't want to be touched by them. He will very happily chase after any toys they throw.

In wide open spaces, I let him be off leash around kids all the time at the park, because he will just completely comfortably ignore them. I keep a close eye in case any kid would choose to run at him, so that has never happened. But even if they did, I don't think it would be a problem. He would just masterfully sidestep him.

Inside, I manage his interactions with little kids completely and don't let him loose around them, because I don't want the kid to be an idiot, and all of a sudden Leo is backed into a corner with nowhere else to go. While I don't think he would BITE, he might nip or otherwise "correct" the way he corrects dogs, which would be extremely loud and scary but with no contact.

All that being said, Leo does warm up to kids when given time, just hasn't had many opportunities to build relationships with many, because we don't often meet that many. So I am actually very confident that he could live comfortably with any kids I will have in the future, because I will set it up right.

Traveler adores kids. Like, a creepy amount.

He is crazy for people in general but with kids he's super excited but calms his body down. He doesn't jump on them, just sits or lays down if they are nervous (This is the dog that takes flying leaps at strangers in joy if they look him). Does tricks and wiggles and basically is as ideal of dog as you can get around anyone young.

Both Didgie and Fergus are rather indifferent. Didgie likes them as much as she likes most people and that's a "Hi! Bye!" kinda way. Fergus is a little timid but comes around fine around them and adults, I haven't seen a difference.

Hugo likes children about as much as he likes any human, which is kind of a lot. He won't take off and solicit attention, but if they want to pet him, he is all for it. He's really good about being calm enough to not knock them over or anything.

Uh, he likes them ok if they're sitting still/being quiet.

Milo is 100% separated from my daughter. If he's around she's in her high chair or we're holding her. He doesn't HATE kids (although he does if they run at him or make a big commotion which most kids do) but he can never be trusted around them (or most people).

Benji (and all the other dogs in my life) have enjoyed being around kids.

Over ten years old, no problem. That's when they turn into tiny humans. Younger than that, and they are alien babies. Roxie wants the alien babies to love on her and she wants to give them kisses, but they will probably eat her. Which is very confusing for both of us. Roxie doesn't display aggression, but her odd behavior of wanting love but seeing them as aliens throws me for a loop, so I just avoid contact.

So yeah, kids under 10 are not allowed near my dog. Which makes Roxie sad and makes the kids sad, because she's all wiggly and melting into a puddle when she sees them, and she WANTS them to pet her and stuff, but they also freak her out because hello, alien babies that may eat her.

Anyhow, she loves all people as long as they are over 10 (and no longer act like alien babies). She's super gentle, although she will not fetch toys or play with them. I'm not sure why she doesn't like playing with kids, because she will play with my sisters' friends and stuff when they're over at the house. But those are teenagers lol.

3/4 are. Doom is indifferent. He doesn't like kids, but he doesn't hate them either. When he was younger he loved them, but now that he's old he just walks away from them rather than trying to get them to play.

My 12 year old shih tzu is indifferent. Would rather avoid them, really. Of course, she's lived through 3 children being born and growing up, so she's pretty used to the gig.

11 month old Bouvier loves them, but then again, he loves everything. LOL! Of course, he loves to chase WAY TOO much for me to ever let him loose in an open space with kids. And he inadvertently knocks over my 5 year olds from time to time just by being huge and in the way. But he is the most tolerant dog I've ever met. Either that, or he's completely insensate. :rofl1:
