Addie doesn't. once she is sleeping...she'll only wake up IF there is food involved or someone at the door. not Hammie...I move...he moves. I step on the porch, he does. I step back in, he does. it's kind of sad cause I move around alot. lol he no sooner gets all comfy....and I'm in another room.....so OF COURSE he is. poor guy....just can't stand to be alone.

I love the company, too....but I just feel bad for him sometimes. seems he just gets settled..and I'm on the move again. I feel like I have a shadow. sometimes on a cold winter day he'll stay on the bed if I move. but since it's been nicer....he is joined to my hip. no wonder he is so tired by evening. LOL Addie has the right idea.......call me if you need me. LOL

Toby is the same way. If we're both relaxing on the couch and I go to get up (as quietly as I can), he will wake up and follow me. I feel bad too, because he is obviously comfy and in the middle of a nap. There are times when I deliberatley not move so he can take a longer nap!~

My three tag team me. One will be right with me and the others will be where they can see me. Sometimes, though, I can't move without bumping into them as they are all right there. It can get comical sometimes.

Luke follows me everywhere. Laundry room, kitchen, you name it. He even stands outside the bathroom and waits for me since I don't let him in there, lol. :p

Dakota has to be within 10 feet of me at all times. If I even move to the other side of a room, he follows me. Ripley doesn't really care where I am or what I'm doing, unless I'm preparing food.

Oh geez, Rocky follows me EVERYWHERE. The one place I don't allow him is in the bathroom, and even then he lies down by the door. And if he's sleeping, like dead asleep, if I move a foot his ears perk up and he's already two steps ahead of me. Typical shepherd. :)

Yup, even if I get up from my own desk in the office to do something on one of my husband's computers on his desk, or the workstation at the third desk, Quigley will get up and lie down under the desk I'm currently sitting at.

Yah our lab does that. He's really only done it to my dad in the past but he's starting to do it with me too.

Wherever either of us go, he's there with ya. It gets kind of annoying after a while but oh well, he enjoys it. And it's always nice to just put your hand down by your side and have a head to pet and floppy ears to play with.

Oh but if we're outside in the front then he won't stay by you. That's his exploring time. One would think he never gets to go outside or something the way he runs about the front yard. He just lies down in the back. Something about the fence I guess.

yup. Yoshi follows either of us anywhere.

When he's really tired, he will do the least possible effort and walk the least distance then go down.

He has to have a line of sight with us at all time.

Except when we are in the bathroom, in which case, he will wait at the door.

hehehehe

Gunnar will follow me if I'm moving around the house. But if I'm at my desk working, he doesn't always stay right with me- he'll go into the den and lay on his bed. Bruzer has to be right under your feet at all times when you are at the desk, snoring and farting. He's a wonderful companion that way. :) Midnite is old and has her own agenda, usually based on where the sunlight is coming in the window and having a nap there.

Roxie-now that she is older, prefers a centralized location where she doesn't have to move her body, just her eyes. She sleeps most of the day. In her younger days she was constantly beside me.
Brutus- he is attached to my hip. I can't move without him.
Maggie- she visits me when she is ready.
