lets see, since he's only just over 3 months we are far from perfect on these but Sunny knows sit, lay down, paw (shake), highfive, wave, dance (sort of a twisty, jumpy circle motion until I say to stop), crawl (only for a few feet then he gets annoyed and walks upright), stay(only from a few feet away yet), touch (hold my hand out as a target and say touch, bumps his nose to it), come, wait for me (if he gets ahead of me on the trail he'll sit down and wait until I'm there then keep walking), off, jump, down (as in don't jump on me), go say hello (waits until I give a cue to greet people at the door, has been very useful in curbing excitement peeing
) we are working on free-shaping with a clicker to get him to shake on command, like he does when he has had his bath or was just out in the rain. I just think that would be a cute alternative so when someone says "shake" he actually shakes off
(I know, I'm goofy) and pottys on command (most of the time...okay, who am I kidding, when he feels like it ) yeah, that's about it. He's pretty bright and when he wants a treat (like anything I happen to be holding in my hands that is a food-like substance) he'll run through most of his tricks and try to get it
silly baby. yeah, I do sound like a disgusting "my child is an honor student and your child is just plain dumb" kinda mom don't I ? Sorry, I have no life so I have lots of time to train my puppy (ooh and also we are teaching him to put his toys away...okay, really done now)
