DH are getting to a place where we are getting ready to try to get preggers, but I have some health issues to sort out first. We have painted our second bedroom a tealish color, thinking that it would be a good color for now but also for a future kid's room.

Today I went to a "Barn Sale" that had a bunch of antiques and handmade stuff and I found a cute framed water color of a firefly that just looks like it was painted for that room for only $1, and I bought it in anticipation of it being a good way to decorate a nursery. Even though I'm not only not pregnant, but am waiting to try.....

If it makes you feel any better.... Josh and I aren't trying yet and we stop through the baby sections everywhere we go and we're constantly browsing baby stuff together online. So if you are pathetic just know that I'm right there alongside ya.

I don't blame you for buying decoration stuff now. Just like I don't blame you for buying cribs or other furniture items now. Save your money for around when the baby is due for diapers, formula if you go that route, and other incidentals. Babies are expensive

Nahh....I'm always planning for the next thing. When we were about to be married, I was shopping for apartment things. When we got into our apartment, I started looking for a dog. When we got the dog, we had to find a house. We now are renting the house, but I'm desperately looking for one to buy (despite not being able to purchase one for at least 3-4 months when I have a solid job again).

As soon as we get into the house, I'm sure I'll get baby fever and start picking up nick nacks at the thrift store (despite not even being sure I want kids!)

No, you are not! And it's awesome!

To add to this, on Friday night as I was finishing up with the horse, I saw a teeny light that I first thought was a flashlight or something. Then it quickly "turned off". That's when I realized it was a lightening bug (firefly to all you non-southerners ;) ). For 30 minutes I was privy to an amazing lightening bug show. It was amazing in the darkness that surrounded it. I haven't seen a lightening bug in several years!

I didn't even know that lightning bugs really existed until I moved to the east coast. I had read a children's storybook about them and thought it would be amazing if there was such a thing. I almost crapped my pants the first time I ever saw a real one. I've been fascinated with them ever since
