I think most people think a big dog is a " he " ...everyone called Bubba a she only because of his soft eyes ...same with Chip and now Ollie . Go figure !!

Sophie totally looks like a she. I get this all the time! People will say to Emma what a cute BOY! Hello, she has a pink leash on, then they'll turn to Bentley and go what a pretty GIRL. He's wearing a collar that says KING all over it, lol some people.
Everyone calls Dakota a girl. Drives me nuts. "How old is she?" Even after I drop subtle hints, like "Oh, *HE* is 2 years old" they continue to call him a pretty girl.
Sophie looks very feminine to me. Actually most of the curly haired labradoodles / goldendoodles look feminine to me-- even the males. Weird that people call her HE. The shaggy scruffy (non curly) looking ones all look masculine to me.
Sammy gets called SHE all the time and I can't see that either. BTW -collars do help. Sammy had an ambiguos green collar and got called SHE now he has a royal blue one and it seems to do the trick
I think Miss Sophie is every bit as feminine as Kharma - who also gets accused of being a male. I just exclaim that she is a delicate little Grrrrl . . . they never forget after hearing that, lol!
Shiva I can understand being mistaken for a male; she's a much stockier dog, although she is still feminine - just not dainty in demeanor like Kharma. Shiva is just a force of nature, lol!
