My friend who lives in California got one as a puppy for her 2 boys about 3 years ago. The dog's name is Cullen. He's really cute.

Lol yeah, my grandparents always called ours "that dumb dog". He really wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. But whenever we'd come home, he'd always check me over to make sure I was okay. He was a sweetie. :)

Tony was vindictive ! He basically was my Dad's hunting dog and when my Dad was gone to WW2.....he became totally destructive ! Would intentionally go out and get muddy and then made sure to wallow on all the beds . At one point grabbed a lady's fur coat and ripped it to pieces . Mom luckily found a home to foster him until Dad got home ( 5 years ) and he was great until he died at 15 .

Oh wow! Ours was never like that. He was very strange and liked to drink rye and coke. Whenever my dad would have an evening drink he had to make sure to have it out of reach otherwise the dog would drink it, lol.

I know two people who have Irish Setters. I have always really liked their long coats. You'd think they would be such graceful dogs, but the ones I know really haven't been :rofl1:. They give you some humor, that's for sure. My neighbor had one named Red who was the goofiest, bounciest old guy even at 14 years old. And my friend had one named Ashleigh, which is where my line "you'd think they'd be graceful..." comes in. This dog tripped over her own feet, and got all kinds of stuff in her fur, and got into anything and everything, eating it. ;)
