does anyone know what breed these are?

a long time ago in the paper i saw an artical on rarer breeds, in there was a breed that looked alot like a labradoddle, it was called something like a lakehound or duck something but it was so long ago i can't really remember, does anyone have any ideas?

I have a big thick dog book, that has a page with info and pics for most breeds. I remember paging through one day with a neighbor of mine, and stopping at the Italian Spinone; we both at the same time said, "I want one of those" The cream colored pups with the "mustaches" are absolutely adorable!! Sorry, just had to add that in


I think some of the Lab/Poodle crosses look alot like a Spinone, depending on the amount of each breed the pup gets....some seem curlier, some more wirehaired.

Otterhounds, Italian Spinones and Lagotto Romagnolo all look like (well, I think they look better than) "labradoodles".
