I don't have any, but know several. Very personable little dogs. They may be small, but seem to think they're *huge*.

I have only met a couple, they were nice little dogs..and so very, very, cute. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for terriers.

All I can say is obedience training is a must. (but that's true for all dogs).

My dad has a teacup yorkie named Boone, and it's been quoted accurately that they're little dogs with huge personalities. This little mess is a terror, but again like I said he has had no discipline or training.

On the other hand my sister has a standard sized yorkie and he is the best dog ever. He is about 10 years old now, and unfortunately starting to get cataracts, but is a wonderful dog. You can have a house full of guests and he just sits on the couch and lets whoever wants to pet and love him. Great dog!

I like them as long as their owners take the time to properly train them.

I feel this needs to be added...not to be rude, but there is no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie, nor is there such a thing as a "tiny toy" yorkie or any other breed, either. They're all puppy mill dogs and should NOT be bred!

I have to admit, I'm not a small breed lover.... I appreciate ( if they don't bite me ! ) but really love the gentle giants. I'm really put out with the owners of some of these " babies " who pamper them to the point that they are no longer dogs, but " items". I only hope these owners bring out what the breed was formed for.... not for fluff/puff and ribbons in their hair .

Thank you all for your input, it helps alot! :) I don't think I want to get a teacup yorkie, because all I have heard of them is that they are not a good dog.
