She's doing so well Renee. You would never even know that she had surgery. Her appetite is fantastic and while still on mush, she just gobbles her food down with gusto. I'm in awe..tougher than her mommy, that's for darn sure.
Thanks for asking.:D

You know there is a school of thought in holistic medicine that if you will fix periodontal problems the rest of the body will heal itself.
Oh I believe it! She didn't seem ill before or even painful, but seeing her now makes me wonder how I didn't know..:(
She probably feels so much better now to have those huge teeth gone. Infection had started to set into her upper jaw due to the canines being too large and growing into her nasal cavity. So lucky it was caught when it was.

I have a heart problem, discovered at age 40 and not much fun..and have to take antibiotics prior to any dental proceedure, cleaning including. Nasty mouth stuff can just do so much damage to out bodies.

My Dad had rheumatic fever as a child and has always had to take antibiotics before dental procedures. I'm happy to say that it's probably been 20 years since I last had an antibiotic - maybe longer! :D

Kinda like when I had my tubes tied . . . the Dr. said he was going to get one last PAP smear 'cause he knew it would be the last time I'd ever come for one . . .

Tut, Tut !!! I believe in preventive medicine .....Hate the dentist ... go twice a year . Always do my Dr. annual ... To me it's the same with the dogs. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Other than this, I've only gone to my Dr. twice in 9 years,,,( for a problem ) and of course with the dogs when something seems amiss... like my Chip. He had had his complete work up 3 months before.... NEVER put off is something seems " strange " .
