Yayyy! I'm glad a lot of you leared to tell them apart with this thread! They are hard to tell apart, but it's really true - once you learn their personalities, it just clicks.

I'm embarassed to say that I can't tell Paige's BCs (Spanky and Bandit) apart! ;)

PS - another way to tell mine apart is that Ilsa's collar has two rows of little button studs, and Ronin's has sheriff stars AND button studs... :D

I was JUST going to say that I can tell them apart by collar.
AND if they're next to each other, I can tell them apart because Ilsa has a broader chest.

AND if they're apart in pics, I can sometimes tell them apart by what they're doing in a pic. Ronin is the goofball.:D

Now I bet you'll switch around the collars on us, huh?

I LOVE the tennis ball one. It rocks my socks off. Definitely needs to be in a doggie calendar. :D

Great Doberman speech, btw. ;)

Awe, that last pic is just too sweet :) Orson needs a sister that wants to tolerate his antics better than Phoebe does.

I have learned that Ilsa's markings are a lighter shade than Ronin's and I have seen them enough to know the difference :D

Dobermans are genertally good with kids, but not all of them are. I don't trust my male around "loose" kids, as he has a very high prey drive and running, screaming children could be percieved as prey.
I think this is becoming more of an issue for Orson :( He is fine with OUR kids as he considers them HIS kids...........but I see a difference in him just watching the neighbor kids out the window or being out on walks, something in his eyes when they get to running and yelling that I just don't like. I really think he would LOVE to chase them and 'bring them down' For this reason I don't trust him around other kids, even if I am wrong I would rather take the safe road.
