Doberman Looking for a Home in NC

Our shelter has a lovely 4 yr old Doberman. She looks to be purbred and weighed 82 lbs at the time of her spay. Her tail is docked but her ears have not been cropped. The shelter will not permit the new owner to crop them. Matilda came to us heartworm positve and very thin. She has been sucessfully treated, but must stay on a preventative for the rest of her life. She does great with people, but because she is so large, she would be best with older children. She is cat agressive. She is an alpha female, so she must go with only submissive dogs. Ideally she would be the only dog, becaus she like to have all the attention to herself. She shows signs of being housebroken and tries not to soil her run. Matilda is terrified of thunder and needs to be a home who can be with her or crate her when it storms. Here is a link to her picture.
