Got to love when a dog knows how to take advantage of someone. lol Doug is brushing Sheena because she is dropping coat right now. I have shown him the commands and how to get her to stand properly to make brushing easy but she knows he has never done it before and is taking full advantage. He is covered in hair and I am lauging really hard. lol Hair is everywhere on the floor in big piles and half the time he spends wrestling with her into place and getting tons of licks. She is smiling at him a lot as he argues with her to stand still. But as he brushes her she will either siddle one end away or the other. lol

She of course knows better with me and doesn't pull this with me. Do your dogs take advantage of people too?

Oh yes! Jackson knows my dad is the spoiler-give-him-anything-he-wants guy. Whenever we're all eating, all 3 dogs are sitting by my DAD.... nobody else, lol. If Jackson wants anything, he goes to my dad. He can whine a bit and my dad is immediately like "awww what's wrong?!?!" so yes, he totally takes advantage of my dad. And then my dad will be the one complaining about the dogs doing something wrong when he basically taught them the behavior, LOL.

God. Yes.

I can't leave Eve alone with other people or she makes a complete ass of them - and herself.

With me, she's a little angel. :p

Argon treats my mother like a not so glorified servent. I stood there and watched this exchange not 15 minutes ago. Mom was on the couch and Argon wanted up. He knows to wait for a blanket to be put down, and then a command to be given.
Mom: Ok, Argon, up!
Argon: Stares pitifully
Mom: Up!
Argon: Stares pitifull while shifting from foot to foot
Mom: Come on baby!
Argon: Stares
Mom: Well, I'm not picking your fat butt up, so you can just stay on the floor!
Argon: Stares and whines a little
Mom: Up, Argon! Baby, what's wrong?
Argon: Pitiful sigh and more staring.
Mom: Oh, poor baby!
Then she scoops him up and puts him on the couch. Cue the smuggest look ever from Argon and my father and I snickering. And she wonders why he never listens the first time!

YES.
Harley LOVES when my little brother makes visits because my brother brings toys over and Harley thinks every stuffed animal-looking toy is his and my brother just lets him play with it when I am out of sight. He never chews it up (thank goodness!!).
Harley also loves when my sister that doesnt live with us comes over because she always wants to give the dogs treats and I always tell her not to give them treats unless they do something good (she doesn't know how to train dogs). Next thing I know Harley and Angel are just sitting in front of her and she is just feeding them treats. Her excuse is "But they're SO cute!!" :p

Rocket has my dad owned when we visit.

He loves to rest his head on people, lean, and get scritches. If you try and ignore him he'll shove his nose under your hand or stare at your face. So, he'll walk up to my dad, stare, lean.....and shove.

Dad: "Dammit, dog, I hate your wet nose in my hand all the time!"

......

He automatically starts to pet him.

10 minutes later.

Dad: "gOD DAMMIT ROCKET! I HATE YOUR WET NOSE!!!"

..........

More petting and scritches.

See a pattern? LOL

His other attention grabber is the paw...he'll sit all sweet and quiet right in front of you...then throw a paw on your lap with big eyes. Push him off? The paw comes right back. I think it's downright adorable, but my Dad isn't a fan. But it still works!

He doesn't do any of that to me because I can outlast him and his big brown eyes, so watching him do it to others is really entertaining.

Smart boy, Rocket, smart boy. :)

Everytime when our family gets together and we eat, our two French bulldogs sit at the feet of my brother... They are used to being feed by him and they never leave him alone when he is eating something... It is pretty fun to watch, indeed :)

My dog takes advantage of newbies when I ask them to take him out to pee. He pretends he's frantic and pulls them accross the street to the river so he can go play in it. They always tell me "He seemed to know where he was going" when they bring him back in all wet.
