Yeah she looks like should could stand to lose some weight.

I know pictures can be deceiving, but she looks round so I'd say at least a few pounds could be lost.

Cute though! :D

Yeah she's a tad overweight. It's not horribly bad as some labs can get but she can loose a little weight. Maybe try cutting back on her food, or giving her more exercise (or a little bit of both).

i agree, maybe loose a bit. Busters almost lost all his winter fat. Which wasn't even a kilo of extra weight, he just looked bigger, but its almost all gone now.
I cut down his kibble a lot and more vegies than meat in his homecooked meals helped

I agree - she could lose a bit of weight - but she's not nearly as bad as some labs I've seen, that practically wobbly around!

I'd say that she could definitely stand to lose a few pounds too. She's not too overweight, but I think roughly 5lbs lost would make her look great.

She looks pretty healthy and so cute.

Maybe few workout outdoor could help her even more fit.

She is definitely not obese however, a few pounds could definitely be taken off. She's gorgeous either way though!

Labs aren't supposed to have as defined a waist and tuck-up as some other breeds, but they should have a somewhat defined waist. A tubular shape means too much weight.

I think this is a good picture of a fit lab, for reference:

She's a little chubby. Not terribly obese, but she could stand to lose weight, as you don't want it to become a problem.

Does she ever swim? (and if not, is there somewhere you can take her to swim?) It's really good exercise, especially for an overweight dog, as it doesn't stress the joints.

Thanks all for looking. I think she's a little overweight. She LOVES to swim, I can't keep her out of the lake! She's on antibiotics right now, so we'll go when she finishes those. The girl LOVES to eat. My son left the pantry door open last night and she got into the cat food. She inhaled half a bag. I'll reduce her food a little and get a little more workout in. I need it too...I could stand to lose a few pounds.

Yep, she could definitely stand to lose a few. You should be able to see a waistline there and be able to feel the ribs fairly easily.

I would definitely work on having her lose some weight.
She's absolutely adorable, though, I love her ears.

Awww we don't get nearly enough pictures of her. :)

Good luck with her--I'm sure her weight loss program will be fairly easy since she's so active!
