geez i thought you meant a break from a puppy and thougt oh YES YES YES i DOOOOO..i am ready to put Victor in a box for awhile..he saw a rabbit outside the window at dawn and has been totally impossible ever since..jumping all over the bed, running thru the poison ivy, crying, whining and begging at the door, wish that rabbit would go far far far far away from my bedroom window..sigh i really didn't want to get up at dawn. I am so ready to choke one birddog. I will have to look at the nice puppies when i get back (gg is at the store) and try to think of them with kindly thoughts..not rabbit stomping paws on my head.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you guys but yes, there are definately occasions when I could use a break from my puppy! When she sleeps I breathe a huge sigh of relief! It's just like having a baby, I swear. I love her dearly but boy, can she wear me out.

Lol same. When I got Boris I was seriously considering taking him back, I was a nervous wreck. I swore I would never get a puppy again then I fell in love with the one I'm picking up on Saturday :D But now I know what to expect, and it's so worth it in the end...

I'm with Smkie on this one guys! I sprained my ankle yesterday and today against my better judgement took Sunny to his lake. I say his lake because you would think he owned it the way he "talks" to the geese and ducks and fish that live there  anyway, we went and I threw his retrieve toy for him a million times and limped around the lake slooooowly as to not aggravate my already pained ankle. Well, Sunny decided he needed to RUN as fast as he could out into the water and paddle so far out it looked like he might not make it back  so I started to run towards the water and slipped again, twisting the same bloody ankle! grr. Sunny, by the way chased a duck back into shore and was fine. So we came back home and my ankle is throbbing and what does my baby want to do? after swimming for over an hour? He is running laps around my house. Cute puppies or no, I could definatly do with a time out from this sweetheart. Smkie, maybe vic and sunny can get together and wear each other out?

LOL! Sunny, Sunny, Sunny! So cute, and so full of personality. I am sorry you twisted your ankle again, but that boy sure does keep you on your toes, huh? ;)

Yes, I am definatly on my toes with this one. He somehow manages to be too cute while he is behaving that I forget the little monster hiding inside until it is too late  lol. My silly guy. That's why I think vic and sunny would get along so well. they are kindred spirits :D
