no i cant i have an 8 years old bichon frise and he does not like my 6 months cao , he growls at him when the other wants to play. on the other hand the cao like the bichon but he plays too rough and can hurt the bichon just by stepping on him and he uses his paws to hit and they are big paws, but never tries to bite even if the bichon does + they will destroy the house playing. so i have the CAO in a separate area while the bichon just has all the rest of the house.

Well..eight dogs in the house, nope.

When everyone is gone (usually only about 2-4 hours on a workday now).. Romeo, Skye, and Zoie are left loose in my large bedroom together (Zoie and Skye can also be out in the house with Shelby and Ritzy, but they prefer my bedroom). Fiona is crated, for housebreaking reasons and because yeah, she picks at the other dogs if left to her own devices.

Shelby and Ritzy are left out in the house, and Fez and Soldier are in my mom's bedroom. Fez is fine with all the dogs that were in the house before him, and he is OK with Shelby, but if she were to trip over him or get in his face over a toy he gets pissed off.

When I had Sir, he was never allowed to be loose with the other dogs unsupervised. That whole pittie thing.

Frag and Recon are loose together for as long as a work day (8 hrs) unsupervised, and I never expect any issue with them. Neither is the type to seek anything out OR finish it, and Recon hides in a corner when I'm gone and sleeps. Not sure if Frag even knows he's there.

Patton is an instigator and doesn't leave dogs alone if they correct him, so he will likely never be trusted with them for an extended period of time.

I've had fosters like Billy and Bella that I left loose with Recon/Frag too, because they just didn't really do anything, not a mean bone in their body type of dogs.

My two are left together all the time. They get along perfectly and Summer's separation anxiety is gone if I leave her with Mia. So.... leave them separated and risk Summer injuring herself in a panic attack or leave them together when they've had no problem.... It's an easy choice for me.

A lot has to do with just these two dogs in particular. Mia can be hotheaded but Summer is very very passive. They like to snuggle and have never had a major fight. They stay together pretty much 24/7. I know something COULD happen but I'm not worried about it. I think the risk is very small. I've had past dogs I would never do that with. But these dogs? Sure.

ETA: They don't stay loose though. They stay in the kitchen, which is Mia-proof. I don't think I'll ever trust her loose.

Yes! All the time. They're pretty much always together. When Fred was a puppy he was crate trained and Bodhi took time to bond with him, so they were always supervised. Now though, no issues ever. They don't even snark at each other.

Yep, I have never separated any of my dogs unless I was crating for other reasons (destruction, chewing, etc).

They seem to share much better when I am not around...Ivy will be a bit food guardish when I am around, but the couple times they have gotten into stuff when I am out, they share  My previous dogs I always left together as well.

When I lived with my mom, her dog and Roman were left together. Never had a problem.

If I'm running to pick the boy up from the bus I'll leave all three loose, if I'm going to be longer (that's typically 20 minutes or less) then Gage is put in the garage. Nothing to do with anyone getting hurt, it's to keep him off the furniture.

Never. And even if I have the mildest mannered dogs I don't think I ever would. But I also won't ever have another dog that can't be crated when I leave. I just find the peace of mind worth it.

Current crew, yes, they're together, loose, all the time (although they get supervised at mealtimes), otherwise, it's never been a problem.

The crew at my parents house were pretty much always loose together. Rottweiler, three JRTs and a lab mix. None of them interacted with each other and we never had an issue. I leave Crossbone loose with Jack & Mini when we go to my parents house.

It would be my hope to have our next dog able to be loose during the day with Crossbone as well.

Depends on the mix. I only allow two lose together at a time anymore. Usually tank and Bentley are together in a room and then Mia and Mae. Our foster Molly is in a seperatw room. I don't leave toys on the floor though. I sometimes do with Mia and Mae because Mae could care less about a toy. Mia usually hordes them in her crate anyway :p

Never. I don't trust Rage not to kill Daisy, and I live by "never trust a bulldog not to fight" when it comes to Keena. Liz and Daisy are allowed loose together all day in the backyard, because there's enough space that Liz won't get snarky (plus she has no teeth & can't do much damage at this point..) also they are both geriatrics. Lol

Bloo is crated if not being supervised. No exceptions.

Copper, Shadow, and Em can all be left alone just fine. When I had Deke, he could too if we weren't gone for long. If it was more than an hour I crated him, only because of chewing things, nothing to do with the other dogs.

Yup, Piper & Sako stay out together. Barrett is still crated because he's a pup.

I know.. I'm an irresponsible Pit Bull owner according to some but.. whatever.

I leave LoLa and Judge together. Before that, I left Hobie and Red together and even Hobie and Judge for very short periods. According to some, I'm an irresponsible pit bull owner..... You have to know your dogs.

Rasta can be left with Judge for very short periods but....that won't be happening much longer. Rasta is a dick.

I've had some people horrified that I leave my stafford and chi x together. I acknowledge the risk, but yeah I also know my dogs. The risk is low enough for me to be completely comfortable with it.
