All you people with dental insurance: what kind? Do you like it? Is it expensive?

I don't have it but I want it. Nobody seems especially interested in selling it to me, though. I go to the dentist 4 times a year, and insurance would be excellent!

I just recently went in after not going for about 10 years, I have perfect teeth, LOL. Just need some sealer, and...wisdom teeth removed. Probably going in more regularly now though. :p

Nope, I'm terrified and I've always had bad teeth. That said, last time I did go (probably 6 years ago now) I was told my teeth were fine.
I really need to find someone I trust to be gentle.

I haven't the last two years, but that's because two years ago I went for my first appointment and then the rest of my benefits (and cash out of my pocket) went to getting my wisdom teeth taken out. Then this year I went and was going to go back to get a cavity filled, and literally three days beforehand I ended up fracturing the tooth, so then I had to go use the rest of my benefits (and cash out of my pocket) for a root canal. So both times, with no benefits left, I skipped the second appointment in the year.

Hopefully this year we will have no major emergencies and I will be able to go twice. =P Normally I do go every six months for a cleaning.

I DID... till I moved, so I missed my last appointment.

My teeth are great (touch wood) - so it was a 12 monthly check up anyway.... Just need to find a new dentist I like on NHS now. Private is far too expensive!!! Only cost me £14 for a full check up and xray at last one :D
