Do you?

How often?

Do you get them either otherwise or also professionally cleaned?

What do you use as toothpaste?

I never brushed Milo's teeth before, but figure it's never too late to start. I'll probably just use baking soda but if he doesn't like the taste i guess i'll have to get some flavored crap from the pet store...

Romeo gets his teeth brushed about once a week with Petz Life Oral Care Gel.

We use a baby tooth brush, its soft and we got it at walmart for like a dollar lol

With small dogs, especially chihuahuas, its a must. they tend to have really bad teeth. He eats very well and that combined with the tooth brushing has kept his teeth pearly white and his breath fresh

I scale Dance's teeth once a week, as they tend to get really dirty easily for some reason. Sometimes I brush them too, and she gets raw bones to try and help her teeth stay clean.

I don't really brush the Dobes' teeth. Sometimes I will just because, but they don't really seem to need it.

When I do brush their teeth, I don't use toothpaste or anything. Just a brush, as that's always worked fine for me. :)

I brush them once a week, using Petz Life Oral Care Gel.

I don't use a toothbrush, I use non-sterile gauze pads.

I use the CET toothpaste that you find at the store and a baby toothbrush to brush the dogs teeth everyday... then every three days I apply the PetzLife Gel... so far this has been working great... the vet always comments on how great their teeth are.

I will only do a dental on them if the vet ever says it is necessary.

We brush twice a week with Petz Life Oral Gel. It's made a MASSIVE amount of difference in Summer's teeth just doing that. She used to need dentals every year her teeth would get so bad but 6 months from her last she has zero dental issues. Mia so far has had no plaque buildup and I'd like to keep it that way.

I brush them about 3-4 times a week with whatever toothpaste I find at the pet store. Lucy has icky teeth and probably should go in for a dental...

I always got my litters used to a tooth brush , but never continued with the ones I kept . I've never had to have a vet recommend cleaning or have had it done . Bones have been good to us !

Not anymore... I used to but it didn't help. Finally found out bully sticks are the only thing that work for Auggie so that's what we use. One every other week or so keeps everything nice and clean. There are a few spots that need extra help with the scaler every other month or so.
I really need to get back in the habit of putting the Petz Life on his teeth or something... even with clean teeth his breath still smells icky. =P

For a long period I brushed my dogs' teeth, but I never saw real improvement.
Now RMBs and marrow bones make their teeth shine more than anything I've ever tried before.

I do brush my dog's teeth with Petz Life gel and electric Pokemon toothbrushes... when ever I remember to do it. That could be 7 days in a row or once a week.

I think I do it for my own comfort more than anything. Their teeth are spotless from nomming knuckle bones once a month. Gonzo probably has the whitest teeth of any 9 year-old dog ever. They also get occasional greenies, and lots of bullysticks and esophagus. :)

nope, not at all. the bullies are both seven, but mushroom's teeth are nice and clean and luce's teeth are clean except for a little tartar at the tops of her upper canines. they do both have some slab fractures, but none that have required any kind of intervention yet. yay for dogs who enjoy chewing!

See I never used to care about brushing teeth but Molly got the nastiest breath when she was older. The last couple years of her life I wouldn't let her lick me. Teeth were pretty clean for a 12 year old who had never had her teeth brushed, never had a dental done... but she was STINKY lol. In general I just don't like doggy breath. Mine chew on bully sticks, but bully stick breath isn't very pleasant either LOL. I'd give them RMBs but my mom thinks we're all going to get diseases if I do that. So teeth brushing it is!

I'm mostly just paranoid with Juno. She's a puppy, she has nice teeth, she doesn't have stinky breath, and gosh darn it we're keeping it that way. :p

Murphy has had dentals done before but I really don't ever want to take him in for one again so I've instituted a brushing policy. I use some kind of pet toothpaste that I got in a kit and a soft bristle brush. He takes it pretty well but Mu REALLY hates it and acts like I'm trying to kill her via toothbrush. It's a work in progress - lol.

Rocky and Jack get their teeth brushed every couple of days. Jacks teeth were bad and we spent $500 on a teeth cleaning so we started brushing their teeth. They actually like it. We get special doggie toothpaste.
