Of course. I'm not sure how another female could be weirded out by it, I must admit. :p

Or anyone, really....

Since female chests are the exact same thing as a males chest, except bigger and better.

It's legal where I am.

You don't see it - ever, but it's legal. I have no issues with it and honestly, I think if we went topless more often then maybe feeding babies wouldn't be so jaw-dropping.

I do not think it should be illegal or legal. That is a stupid thing to have laws about.

But I do not think men or women should be topless except at appropriate places. Beaches or pools or private parties totally fine. Public places, or job sites (regardless of your job) it is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Men or women.

Wait.. if something isn't illegal, isn't it automatically legal? Like it's not illegal for me go buy new shoes so doesn't that make it legal? I don't think we have a list of things that are illegal, legal and then ones that aren't worth making laws over. Or I'm confused lol

Anyway, I have no idea what the laws are in NS but I really don't care if it is an appropriate situation. Appropriate being somewhere no one would bat an eye if a guy did it.

Can I vote for the opposite? That not only should women wear tops, but so should men? At least in most places. Beaches are one thing, outdoor shopping centers are another.

It doesn't appeal to me at all to go topless (sunburn? support? bugs?), but I agree that it is a stupid thing to have laws about.

I was gonna say, I live in farm country. Lots of big fat old farmers. NO THANK YOU.
Ha, at the Feast of the Hunter's Moon (Tippecanoe County thing in October) people liked to dress from the Battle of Tippecanoe era. Which, of course, equates to old fat men pretending to be Native Americans walking around in loin clothes. Um. No, thank you.

It's legal here in NY. I don't know that I've ever seen a topless woman in public. Of course it should be legal (where it's legal for men to be shirtless). I doubt I'd do it but wouldn't judge anyone who did.

Nudity definitely doesn't have to be sexual but I gotta keep something covered up so in can surprise my SO with pics at work. Literally only wanna cover up for selfish reasons. I'd go topless at a beach maybe.

Hey if they make this legal and women can go shirtless does that mean I dont have to wear a bra anymore either? because honestly, my boobs hate them and see them as boob prison.

If someone else wants to do it than I say GO THEM, but I wouldnt do it myself ... I get enough attention because I am tall, dont need boobs adding to the staring LOL

To those saying it would be weird to them, I think that you all just think it is weird because it is not the norm, therefore you aren't used to it...? I'm not sure if that made any sense lol :p

Just in case we needed another Ontarian to come in and say it's legal here... lol.

I've seen people take advantage of it a few times in the city. Most often, like the men, the women who go topless are often, um, "not the ones people want to see topless"

I feel though that even with the legal ability to go topless, it's still considered to be a little taboo. Like if I go out topless, because it's still such a rarity I'd certainly be subjected to uncomfortable stares and catcalls and what not (less to do with my overall figure and more to do with rarity). And with having such wonderful (not) social anxiety I just don't think it'd be a good thing to do lol.

Josh on the other hand is all for me practicing my rights

Oh dear Lord, thank you SO much for that visual.

You know, as a mom I spent many, MANY, years reminding my kids how to dress for their own well-being. Cover up, slather sunscreen on any exposed skin, wear a hat. Spray on some bug repellent because you don't need to be bitten by a disease-carrying bug.

Yeah, thinking I'm not changing that little life lesson any time soon. Add a little "not that there's anything wrong with that." And, "Here honey, make sure to slather some sunscreen on those, will you? Because, well, you sure as heck don't want to get sunburn THERE." Easier to just tell them to wear a shirt.

Though the thought of no tan lines does sound appealing LOL, but hell, if someone is secure enough about their body, I say let them rock the topless. Because frankly its such a double standard that men can do it.

Well, I would be weirded out by it because the only boobs I typically see at all are my own, much less in public.

That being said, I really don't care either way as long as it's just in the typical places that men can go topless.
