Disturbing find on beach

I usually run the beach in the direction where not many walk. As I ran, I saw a huge- like 8 foot tall- cross in the distance. I got closer and saw that someone had taken the time to make this giant cross with driftwood and kelp. Under the cross was a body of a sea lion which must have washed ashore. Touching scene- saddened passers-by must have constructed the handmade cross over the body of the sea mammal.
BUT, the sea lion's body had been tagged- spray painted gang symbols all over him. People are sick.

:'( the crap some people do makes me sick. when they die would they want their gang to 'tag' them? obviously some people cared since there was a huge cross made of driftwood and that does show there are still good people out there

People are sick these days...nothing is sacred anymore...absolutely no respect for anyone or anything. Truly disturbing!!

Some people are just so...... I just don't understand WHY?.

Are you sure it was gang signs? there was a big thing here about finding dead animals with these markings all over them adn it was all over the news to keep your kids and pets close because there was some satanic cult. It ended up being how the sanatation people mark the dead animals that need picked up,it looked funny but thats how they marked em.

No...this was the typical stuff that you see written on freeway overpasses.

That's really horrible... Poor creature Who ever did that is very, very sick.
