I can't believe the crap some people are capable of.
I've already reported it, but eBay is usually slow to remove listings, so if you guys could report it then that'd be great.
E-mail the seller if you wish aswell.
I didn't bother because I know all to well what these people say and are like.

sorry, I just do not see it

I am sorry, but what is wrong with the auction?? He has a dog that he wants to charge to breed. Isnt that pretty much normal? If you have a stud bull or ANYTHING (other than human) that you feel is quality to breed, cant you breed them? Sorry, I may be slow, but I do not see what is wrong with it.

he's not a breeder. and the fact that he's willing to breed to pretty much anything (hence, the doodle..etc.) should say it all. when BYBs advertise on Ebay, then it seems even more pathetic to me than when they try to pass themselves off as breeders to unsuspecting people that come to their home and see 2 nice looking parent dogs.

The main problem with the listing is that the seller is basically breeding the dog to the highest bidder. It doesn't even have to be another doberman. And by selling to the highest bidder, it shows that the seller only cares about money. A responsible person wouldn't just breed his or her dog to anything with four legs and a tail. They'd want to be sure that the mother would be another good-quality, healthy dog.

"If you send questions that are not related to bidding on the animal they will be sent to ebays security centre and you may be removed from ebay and unable to re-register your account. Breeders everywhere are trying to prevent this listing from taking place (hence the private listing) because they know that they cannot stop the spread of this breed outside of their societies or clubs, however, i seek to put an end to this kind of tyranny. Breeders have made pathetic attempts to ban/remove this listing and even threaten me into submission, but have only given me more incentive into outsourcing the breed."

I didn't see that before...

I am completey speachless... the stupididy of some people makes me want to grab a fun and shoot myself in the head.....

I don't think you should bother really.
People like that don't need to be educated, guilt tripped or even spend a week at an animal shelter. They need, and deserve to be, shot. I actually mean SHOT. Or hanged...

I think it's anything to do with animals. Studs, puppies, litters, free to good home, pelts, organs, etc.

No,animal byproducts, services and related goods are eligible for listing.

I personally don't see anything wrong with it...the dog is healthy and backed up by paper, they're not selling to just anyone, they're not really doing anyhting wrong. There's always listings requesting or offering stud services in the newspapers...it's a legitimate trade...what's wrong with this? Because it's on eBay?

the thing i find most offencive about thi (other than the complete disreguard for ebays rules) is that hes NOT trying to find an ethical breeder, hes just breeding for the sake of breeding (or in his case TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!)
"This listing is not intended for kennel breeders only regular pet owners like myself and is intended to give the ordianary pet owner of other nice dogs the opportunity to have top quality litters without all the contracts and rules breeders quite often attempt to impose on us."

and the wholse schpeil about how ebay will ban us for reporting it, is completly false, infact hes just trying to stop people from reporting it because his listing WILL be removed!

"and his hips are problem free (not been scored)."
in other words he just thinks his dogs hips are fine and right now the dogs not having any problems...

"I would prefer a purebred doberman however would consider putting him over with other breeds provided they were also purebred and vaccinated and within reason i.e similar size etc"

so yeah can we say back yard breeder...

basically hes studding his dog to the highest bidder, and i think above all THAT is the most discusting part...hes looking to make the most money possible off his "STUD" and that is the opitome of an unethical unresponsible backyard breeder...

and the fact theres NO bids just makes me happy!

Ethical breeders don't offer stud services?

When I've sold or assisted someone in breeding I've always tried to avoid people who operate kennels. Dogs recieve the best care from private indiviuals. The listing may be in auction format, but it's only to approved bidders. Not everyone can bid. It's also a no-reserve auction...who cares if someone's willing to pay a few extra bucks for it? The guy started the auction at his asking price...which, by the way, is significantly cheaper than what you see in most places (stud fees for quality dobes in my area are currently running $450 + pick of the litter).

and the wholse schpeil about how ebay will ban us for reporting it, is completly false, infact hes just trying to stop people from reporting it because his listing WILL be removed!
So is this banter about the listing being against ebay policy...I imagine he added it as a scare tactic to avoid poeple from delivering him the sentiment I'm seeing in this thread.

I don't really approve of his willingness to mixbreed...but ultimately we can't do anyhting about that.

To me, all I'm seeing is a listing for a stud service...what are you guys seeing?

I guess I am different to. I don't see anything wrong with this. If this is wrong then how can people sell pics of their naked ex'es on ebay?
