That's good to know, BP. :D

Got any links to articles on that? I'm going to google and see what I can find...

The one article/research study that I read was years ago... I'd have to google to find it as well.

I keep a water bottle filled or a sports bottle filled with water at all times. But I'm the kind of person that will drink or eat something just because it's there, so when I do that it works out great!

I don't know exactly how much water I drink a day, but combine that with being 5 months pregnant and now you know why I feel like moving my work computer into our bathroom! :D

Yep, all the recent ones I found just warn about putting HOT water into plastic bottles... Man, I just can't win. I have water that will make the cats throw up constantly if we let them drink it, and god knows what it would do to us if we drank it... it's either that or plastic b/c I can't be using glass.

It's the constant re-using them that is the problem... if you have one water bottle and you re-use it for months on end... I don't know if you do that or not, though. :)

You may want to look into the source of Dasani;). http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0304-04.htm

The only bottled water I really like the taste of is Poland Springs.
Yeah I heard about this. As long as it is not contaminated or something I'm okay with it. I buy it just for the taste. Our tap water is so disgusting you can actually smell things in it. One day it will smell like chlorine the next mildew or farts and it is city water. It is so bad you can smell it sometimes when you just turn the water on. We don't even use it for cooking. It might be safe but it is to stinky.;)

LMFAO only 64oz.. my doctor would kill me. More like 80 on average, never mind days when I exercise a lot, and often more than that in just water, plus tea/juice/etc.

How? It becomes pretty habitual to have water on hand. :) When I'm sitting at the computer I used to CONSTANTLY munch on something.. now I drink water instead. When I go to exercise I make sure I drink at least a bottle of water beforehand and eat a little, and then drink up afterwards as well. I get dizzy and can black out if I'm not hydrated, so it's a big issue for me and I try to keep taking care of myself.

I always have something to drink in the mornings, and I like to have some tea at night... just be gradual, Bax. Have a bottle of water extra a day. and then up that a week or two later.. and reward yourself with a little treat when you finish the bottle. If you can'd stand the taste, add a tea bag or lemon/lime/etc. Caffeine will also make you pee, so make sure if you add tea it's decaf. (For the person who said you pee a lot more when you drank coke.. that's probably why!)
Yeah--if you look closely at my original post--I am avoiding adding caffeine (tea, coffee, etc)--I do love my morning coffee, but have cut that back to less. I am drinking seltzer water--different flavors. Drinking more at work is harder because I just can not take the time to run to the bathroom all day! It's just not practical for me.
I have heard that reusing plastic bottles is not good--I really prefer to just drink from a glass anyway! I have a filter on my refridgerator water dispenser--so at home I will just try to be better about that.
thanks for all the input!
