Did your mom like her Mothers Day Gift??

My mom loves to play Bingo..lol..So I gave her a card with $60 bucks in and $10 dollars worth of scratch tickets, and I am going to bake her a cake.

Well she goes to me, you can have the 60 back because I don't want to go alone, and then later she comes in here and says thanks so much for the stuff, but don't get mad if i don't go????...So whatever..I tried!!

My mom actually gets mad when I give her something on mother's day. She does not like the concept behind it. She's way more happy when/if I surprise her with something any other day than on mother's day. She knows that I love and appreciate her and I show it to her throughout the year. So, no, my mom did not get anything today.

My mom is just getting spoiled today, since I am broke and couldn't afford anything that wasn't kind of cheesy. I did get her a nice little mini-spa facial kit, I think she'll like it.

I was drawing a portrait of our family - it was turning out beautifully, but last night I was working on it and spilled coffee on it. Ruined. She has no idea I was even doing that but Ive been kicking myself all day over it. Dammit.

It's the thought that counts. Luckily my family knows I don't need bling-bling and give me meaningful things. Be glad you have your Mothers... my first thoughts this morning was towards the heavens , with a thanks for having me.

Im bad.. I forgot to get my mom a gift and a card but I did call yesterday and wish her a Happy M Day... a day early!!

Today I celebrated Mothers Day with a friend's Mom who I call "Mom". Mom and my friend and his family, we all went out to lunch. What a zoo. Mom got upset that her husband forgot to bring money so Mom decides she's not hungry. So, when its time to order, the family goes back and forth with her and waiter about is she or isnt she going to eat. We order and Mom gets mad and leaves the table. Only to come back when the food has arrived to complain that she's missing her soup. We say we didnt order her soup because she didnt want any. Mom, then says I DID WANT SOUP... ahhh whatever  LOL!!

Got Mom a pretty arrangement of annual flowers that she can set on her back patio and then toss at the end of the season when they finish blooming.

I got my mom a new watch (two toned) that she's been wanting forever. I also got a HUGE mother's day card, decorated the house with pink ribbons and balloons (to surprise her in the morning). I also took her out to dinner and to a movie. Let's just say I'm broke until next friday (payday, yeah!!!)

I got my grandmother a watch also because she's been looking for a particular one and i found it. I also got her a dozen roses (I didn't get my mom flowers because she feels its a waste of money because there going to die anyways but my grandma loves flowers).

That was nice Ally...my Mother thought that of flowers too ....I do to a point. I received a beautiful area from my Nash through his Mommy. So special !!! When my husband courted me ( yes, I'm old ! ) he always brought me a single rose over the car visor.... it meant so much !!! Later married he thought a dozen roses was a waste... I agreed , but ONE would have meant more ! There's a difference between quanity and quality.

My mom is really into gardening right now. So, Brandon and I went to Lowe's and bought her a Weeping Fig for inside the house since she has no houseplants, only a garden outside. I also got her a balloon, but it wasn't tied onto it's string tight enough and it flew away before I could give it to her. :( But, she loved the plant! :)

My mom is also really into gardening. I went to a local nursery and bought her a variety of herbs for her container gardening. She loved it!
