Did You Get What You Wanted??

I originally wanted two goldens, who would be best buddies and who I could play fetch with and take for long walks. I ended up with three labs, one shepherd mix and one golden/eskimo mix. Three from the shelter, two were rescues. Sometimes your heart doesn't check with your brain. I love them all and wouldn't trade any one of them for the world.

Well we wanted a dog who would be a loving family dog but also protect us if needed. I think we were looking for more of a guard dog type mix from the shelter. We wanted a dog who would sleep in bed with us and just be anouther member of the family.

I think we ago everything we wanted in Pix. Obviousely not the breed I expected my mom to agree to but I love her to death. She is an awsome watch/guard dog when it comes to people we don't know at the door or in the yard. But she is also extremly friendly with other people and other dogs. She shares my bed and the backseat of my car is officially hers lol.

I was looking for an affectionate lap dog. Budget is pretty independent and won't sit on your lap for very long. Proxy more than makes up for Budget though!
