Not as good as Evo. I'm not sure. I think it's ok food but agian I'm not sure. It's probably better than pedigree or Eukanuba. I can't get to your link though to see :(.

It's a middle of the road type food. It is not as horrible as grocery store bought dog foods, but isn't as good as foods such as EVO.

I feed Kirkland Signature foods(chicken & Rice), made by diamond I think, but sold as a store brand for Cosco. From what I understand this is not the same food as the link you provided, and I don't think the food in that link is supposed to be very good. That is not the premium food. The better food is from the better line from diamond. At least that is the way I understand it.

And I do understand this is not the best food available, but it is within my cost considering my 3 dogs size and my family situations. I believe it is the best within my means. I also supplement with meats.

My dogs are doing great, and for Rocket the itching has stopped.:D

I am sure you will get more informed replys.

I have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get it, but I buy alot. And it costs me about $16.00 for a 40 lbs. bag. But it is not the same food on the link you provided.

My friends husband is going to start picking it up for me once a month so my travel time will not be an issue. (he works in the same city)

I can get the diamond foods listed on your site at my local tractor store, but the ingredients are different from the diamond made "kirkland signature" at cosco.

Corn is digestable, and the food in the link does have corn. Not saying a little corn is bad, but too much is just not natural in my opinion.

There is no corn in the food I am talking about. Kirkland Signature. Chicken & Rice. Which is also made by diamond. Just distributed to Cosco and sold as their store brand which is Kirkland Signature Brand.

incorrect. it very much depends on the way it is processed. if corn weren't digestible, many million humans and dogs would have died in the last, oh, let's say 2000 years or so. :D

diamond makes several different lines of food. the main "diamond" line is overall not really that great, most of the varieties are heavily byproduct based.

the kirkland signature food (which diamond makes for costco) is definitely a step up from that.

then there is for example the "premium edge" line, which is one more step up the quality ladder. it's going to be very nice once the menadione will be removed next year.

I bought dianmond (the gold bag) from a feed store for 14.00 for a 40 lb bag. I thought that was really inexpensive....my dogs ate it. I cannot say I used it long enough to see how it affected my dogs....their coat looked kind of dry, but it could have been other things. Their coat looks a lot better on the food I have them on now...Flint River Ranch and when I fed them raw.
