Does anyone on here watch this show? If so, you will know what I am talking about when I ask these questions... Who do you think is locked in the new neighbors' basement? And, do you think Edie and Susan's ex, Carl, have a real future??

I love that show. I am a new viewer so I have asked for season one DVD set for my birthday (this sunday) YEA!!!!! I think it is the woman's husband locked in the basement. Don't know what future Carl and Edie have but I loved it last night when Edie got hit by the car in her 70's skating ring outfit. Nickolette (Edie) is looking old. She was a lot prettier when she was young and played on Knots LAnding. Did you see the commercial for the new show "Hot Properties"? It looks funny and premiers this friday on ABC

Ohhh, that's definitely got to be Mrs. Applewhite's Ex/"Dear Departed"/husband in the basement. As for Edie and Karl, I think it'll work out as much as they're capable of a "relationship". Two peas in the self-centred pod there. Can you imagine the weekend visitations with his daughter? That'd be a hoot, just walk across the road. Can't imagine Edie being able to relate to Julie and her teen-age angst too well.

I have seen the Hot Properties previews. Looks like it will be good. Wasn't that the greatest though when Edie got ran over? LOL The look on Susan's face was priceless. It seems like anything that can go bad for her, does... What about when Bree slapped Rex's mom across the face?

I too, think it is Ms. Applewhite's 'husband' in the basement. Only thing is, when the person reached out for their drink, the hand was white, and they are black. Hhmmmm. Adds to the mystery!

I am so jealous of all of you!!! Over here in Australia we have not long seen the end of the first season so we have ages to wait for season 2 (sometime next year I believe). Is the 2nd season as good as the first one?

My dad just got DVR, I should really put it to use.
Girl, that DVR is how I catch all my shows. Well I only have two that I really care about, Roseanne and Desperate Housewives. But, OMG, when I started watching DH in the summer during reruns of the 1st season, it was so darned addicting! I started I think on the 2nd or 3rd episode of the 1st season.

To answer your question g00ber, as of so far, the 2nd season is really answering questions that the 1st left unanswered. New drama is beginning and romances fading. So, I guess I officially sound like a TV Guide now. LOL

Oh my goodness, my whole family watches it... My daughter and I lost it when Susan ran over Edie.. I'm not sure who is in the basement but I'm guessing it won't be the obvious (that being her husband)... Oh well, I'm hooked and can't wait for Sunday nights.

Have any of you taken the quiz to see which character you are most like? I'm a Susan! lol

I don't know who the cellar dwellar is but it looked like a mans hand. But I don't think they are really mother and son. I mean the way she caressed her "son" with a lingering hand was really offputting!!
