Love4pits, I just been reading this post, and then did a search to find out about the nightmares you were refering to.

I cant even imagine what that must of been like for you. Im pretty new to this forum, and cant pretend that I know you very well, but I can tell you that whenever I can see a post that's been written by you I head straight for it, and if you respond to a post of mine I feel so thrilled. I have so much respect for you, and just wanted to tell you that.

I hope you figure out a way to get throught this pain of yours. From what I can see on this forum, you are really loved, and I bet no body ever feels annoyed at all, when you want to rant and rave. The complete opposite I would say, they want you to get it all out, on here, so you can maybe get some relief or help even, from the this pain you're going through.

Like you've been told, you can control your dreams. I am the one my family and friends come asking about dreams. In fact, last night on our walk my brother-in-law stopped me to ask me about a bad dream he had had that freaked him out. If you fall, fly away. If you are being attacked by something you can kill it. I had reoccuring nightmares of being attacked by a hugh talking snake. I made up my mind I was going to kill it. Finally I was able to and that dream went away. Sounds impossible to control a dream but you have more control over it that you think. Whatever it is that is trying to harm you, stand up to it. Fight it. Make it leave you alone. And if you anyalze it you will most likely find that what you are dreaming is kind of what you are feeling in your own life. Let someone help you with your dreams.

Little sister I am going to echo everyone here has already told you. And about the nightmares being one of your "life lines" for when you have had them in the past I agree you need to get this things straightened out. I know its hard considering what happened but we need to try and get this sorted out. You don't need to be losing anymore sleep!

some medications can cause nightmares as well..have you checked to see if it is one of the side effects of anything you might be taking regularly? doc put me on prednisone 2 weeks ago and i had a dilly...i haven't had one like that in a long long time...my dreams were just freaky until it was out of my system..i was afraid to go to sleep!

Scarlette maybe you should consider meditating and/or practising yoga or tai chi. Something like that. It may help.

Don't apologize for posting on this site. That is what this section is here for. As for depression, hey I feel for ya. Since this whole thing with Shelby has gone on I have become SO depressed. The constant arguing over which bill isn't going to get paid so we can afford to keep giving Shelby what she needs is really starting to take a toll. I started up my Zoloft agian just to see if it would help. Just try to get out, hang out with friends, take the dogs out. If it weren't for my dogs and having to get up to get them outside and walked and fed I'd probably have stayed in bed in my pj's all day wallowing in self pity. This place really helps as well because you always know there is someone to turn to if you come here.

Please feel free to come on here and say what you need to. We all go through things in our lives and it's great knowing we have so many friends on this board to help us through the bad times as well as the good. I wish I could help. I'm here to listen whenever you need to talk.

Sorry I'm late.

Don't leave Pits, we all care about you here.

Have you considered natural treatments? I'll have to ask my Mom for the website of the guy we go to....he's excellent.
