Dental problem

Trigger has a Canine tooth that looks like its being prevented from coming out. The gumline is stretched over it and its kinda painful for him to eat. Help plz. p.s anybody know about post traumatic stress dis order?

Trigger is a 3 year old border collie we received due to his old owner died and his daughter would have put him down due to depression

(oh yeah Its not post traumatic stress disorder I need to know about its Obbsessive compulsive disorder sry)

I don't understand it...this would be his permanent tooth. Maybe it never came through. Only a vet could tell you unless someone has had the same problem. Poor baby !! I'm glad you took him !!

well today our horses just told him that he should not chase them. poor dog hes very lucky that the hoof grazed him

Whew! He is lucky!

It does sound like the vet needs to look at that tooth. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have him looked over from that graze too, just to make sure there aren't any sprains or hematomas.

Oh, and I understand that the Bach's Flower Remedies can be helpful for dogs with obsessive/compulsive behaviours. Border Collies are particularly prone to that sort of thing, being so specifically bred to be energetic and very focused herders.

Actually the one with the Disorder is our golden retreiver, when we saw him he was in a cage no bigger than an average bathtub and according to his old owners "Hes been in there for a long time and hes not useful for breeding purposes anymore so if you want a free dog take him" Atleast thats what it sounded like to me! he almost bit my sis, Stubby the wonder Dog, and my bro had to hurt him to prevent him from biteing....Its sad when a person does that to dogs

anyway hes calm with us now and Terrified with strangers
