Using the term "Joe Six Pack" to describe who she wants to represent (aka middle America) as a politician...and 'specially since this WAS the Vice Presidential Debate, (inserts for cripes sake) was a wee bit derogatory and far too corny and unprofessional for this B/S O'meter, non Joe Six Pack kinda gal.
Which is exactly why you hate her. Which is why for all her faults, I LIKE her.

See, I 'R' just a red neck. Mi collidge dergree ain't worth nuthing to you smrt sity folk.

Keep looking down your nose at "us". I beg you.

Dearest Puck,

I do not hate. I do not trust Palin and I do not like her, including her beauty pageant winking during the Vice Presidential debate. As a woman, I found that inappropriate and unprofessional--nothing more. :)

I am looking down at no one. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right? Besides, I am not the one who called middle Americans..."Joe Six Pack." Your candidate did.

And I think that is highly unfair and offensive to assume, the we (or at least I) am sitting back idling away the time by drinking a six pack and waiting to see who will be the next President of the United States of America.

Sorry you took offense...

Oh it's all good. I did not take offence. Its takes WAY more than that to truly insult me. LOL

"Joe Six Pack" does not mean a lazy fart, "sitting by and waiting". Joe Six Pack is a blue collar guy. IMHO, Joe Six Pack is a good thing.

Clearly Mrs. Palin has her faults, who doesn't? But frankly, I like her because she is so fresh. I like her BECAUSE she is so inexperienced in the ways of DC.

Oh, and NEVER apologize for saying what you believe.

:)

IMO, she's got a DS baby, a teenage daughter that's pregnant, and 3 other kids. Her husband is gone for long periods of time since he has an oil company (or something like that).

So where do her kids fit into all this? :( Her DS baby is going to need her, and her pregnant daughter is going to need her to get through raising a child. I hope her kids know what she's getting into.

BTW, I do like her.

I disagree with Palin on a lot of things, but I do like her. I think it's wonderful she adopted her daughter's baby.

She did what? Huh? Her daughter is pregnant. . .? And going to marry the father last I heard.

I actually like the woman, but hey, thats just me.
it has nothing to do with LIKING her. it has to do with whether or not she's an appropriate choice for president of the united states, should mccain keel.

and speaking of Joe Six Pack, everybody should read this.

I don't like her. She debated like she was in a junior high school debate; avoiding questions, constantly trying to steer the debate towards something she actually knows about as she has no idea on most of the topics being covered, while Biden debated like he was in a Vice Presidential debate.

I don't like that someone with no political experience may well become the Vice Pres, or Pres (Does anyone actually think that McCain won't die in office?). She seems like a puppet on stage. She has no idea about how to run a small town effectively, how can she run a country?

Palin has less experience than Obama. And she has "international experience" because she lives in Alaska, which is close to Russia? Please. I live closer to the Mexican border than she does to Russia, and I know a lot about trafficking and illegal immigrants, have met many. Woohoo! I'm ready to be vice president and president if McCain dies!

Oh, I WILL vote, but I will NOT be forced to vote for one of the Gang of Four . . .

Buying into the idea that you HAVE to vote for one of the two main parties . . . . well, it's collusion when you get right down to it. Either you're part of making a change, no matter how futile it seems at first, or you're supporting the tyranny.

Well.. his mother IS what? 98 years old? He's obviously got some good genes in there somewhere. So it is entirely possible that he has another 20 good years left in him.

I mean my grand parents are 90 and 85 and still live on their own and do their own driving, errands and chores.

:D Just saying.
