Yes, I know you can get out of the Ferret Nation cage. I understand, it's not ferret proof as they claim. YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOW ME THIS ANYMORE. It would be much safer if you just stayed in your cage until somebody let you out. I understand, you want time away from Renegade. Really, I do. I need time away from him at times, too.

Also, please explain to me how you close the cage door behind you. Really, THAT is what has me impressed.

Lots of Love,
The asshole who makes you live with Renegade

I'm not exactly sure how she's doing it O__O I just wake up some days and she's been out. I figure when Rosey walks by she hits it closed again (cause it is never closed right when we find her out.

Oh man, there is NO WAY she can fit through the bars :rofl1: She is obese, she'd be the last one to fit through

ETA: I'm tempted to put a video camera pointing at their cage in hopes of catching her in the act. She *knows* how I open it, and will knock the knobs when she really wants out. Only thing I can think of is she knocks them *just* right and gets it open. (the bottom knob can be a pain and likes to get stuck, I think)

I asked my dad if he had her out this morning, thinking he just forgot we have three again and put two away, but he says he didn't, and he, in fact, thought she died in her sleep last night (apparently she was in a dead sleep, which she has never done)

I've had several rats learn how to escape their cages before. One was a little girl that found a wide gap in the bars she could squeeze out. A new cage later, I had a whole group figure out how to unlatch the doors. Always exciting when you get home from school/work to be greeted by a trio of rats at the front door. LOL!

LOL luckily, Renegade has yet to escape -- which is wonderful, cause he would torture Rosey so much
