Dancing Queen

I’ve always wanted to ballroom dance, you know like Richard Gere in that film “Shall We Dance” (I think that’s what it was called)

Anyway, this week I made a promise to myself to do it, and signed up to an 8 week course that starts Tuesday. :yikes:

I’ll keep you all up to date with how it goes, or even better, why don’t you do something YOU have always wanted to do (but never have) and we can buddy each other, and the more people that join us the merrier.

Dancing isn't all that hard. I've never done the ballroom dancing but the steps look simple enough. Kind of like the Foxtrot but you alternate feet more and move more fluidly.

Ballroom dancing is soo much fun! We had like 5 lessons, because they had first 5 for $25. After that it is way too expensive and we can't afford it. But it is a blast!! You will have a great time!

Awww, I'm jealous. I LOVE watching dancing. I wish I knew how to do it myself. I've told myself that when I get caught up with everything (read: money) I want to try Salsa. It's soo sexy!

I have tried to get my husband to do that with me!! I have tried EVERY BRIBE I know with him and it hasn't worked............maybe I will look into doing it myself!!

As someone who once helped teach dance classes and competed, tell your husband (Acooper) that it was the guys who knew how to lead that got the most attention! A line of women wanting to dance with them all night long. Reccommend you talk him into something a little more casual, like West Coast swing verses ballroom, to start. Most men take to that dance very quickly, in my experience. Can't wait to see pictures Gilly.
