I had leftover fish from my dinner the other night. So before leaving the restaurant I removed all the breading from it and split it into several smaller pieces. I usually give her a little of it as a treat when I get home and then mix it in with her kibble for her dinner meal. But this time I decided it might be kind of fun to get pictures of her as I toss each piece to her.
Now here's the thing: Dahlia used to not even attempt to catch food. You would throw it at her and she'd let it bounce off her face and then grab it off the floor. So I started to teach her to at least try to catch it. She's AWFUL at it. Her technique consists of opening and closing her mouth rapidly several times and hoping for the best. SERIOUSLY. To add to the problem, I have no aim.
Here are some of the photos I got. I think it may be my funniest set of photos of Dahlia ever.
Ooo Mom, what do you have there?
OMG FISH!
I love fish!!
SPIT STRINGS FTW!
I probably threw this one over her head. lol
The only piece that had breading left on it. I couldn't get it off!
BUGGY EYES!
