Crazy toed cats! *pics*

I went to visit my parents over the weekend. They have recently moved within driving distance and I got a few pictures of their cats I wanted to share. I rescued a pregnant female cat about 10 years ago and adopted 2 of the kitty's to my parents. They look pretty good for being almost ten years old! And look at those toes! Each paw has one or two more digits than normal. Such cuties!

Thanks! I know, they are both so humourous. They seem to use their extra toes like thumbs so you can imagine how much mischief they can cause.

For ten year olds, they look fantastic - I was guessing maybe six years old when I saw the pictures. I love their markings - there is NOTHING like a classic tabby tortoiseshell.. it always makes for striking coloration.

What cuties! I have ONE polydactyl black and white female cat. She has had lots of problems with one of her extra nails, it curls and goes INTO her skin. We may have to "Declaw" the extra nails.

Yeah, Kahluah has one nail that is really hard to describe. When it grows it looks like a button. It's really weird. And her tail is super short. It's funny because Marmalade's is reallllly long. I think he got the missing part of Kahlua's.

And they do have neat markings. Marmalade has these big swirls of cream over the orange. Got any pictures of your Marmalade Grammy?
