That is strange for Portland! It's been snowing here too, all night and all today. We're getting dumped on and it's blowing sideways....tons of the stuff. We must have gotten a foot since last night. Just when I thought it was melting and spring was coming. LOL. It's not that unusual for here, but it sure is for the west coast! Someone told me it snowed once here on the 4th of July! It's usually hotter than H.E. double hocky sticks in July. That was before I lived here.

So, how much snow is there in Portland? Amazing.

Oh wow! 80 miles east! That's quite a ways. I hear that it snowed near Seattle too. What I hate is after it snows a bunch, then it warms up and rains on top of it. That's what it's suppose to do here later next week. Ugggg. That makes such a slushy mess. That's this time of year for ya. Well, hopefully you won't have any trouble over there where you are.

It's snowing again here as well! Such crazy weather!!

Did you see the news about the giant crash on the I-90 because of the snow? I's crazy! 50 vehicles, including a dozen semi-trucks!!

I know what you mean...that slushy mess....ICK!!!! We only ended up with 2 inches of snow, but then it got really cold and all iced over so it was really slick this morning...mainly just problems walking around!!:yikes:

talk about strange...we're supposed to have a thunderstorm this afternoon with heavy rain. (lasting into tomorrow) meanwhile...I still have major snow/ice packed outside. we've never experienced heavy rain with high snow still on the ground. soooo, last night we were outside shovelling paths to divert water away from the house. since it's so packed with ice, we started to wonder where the water would go. the thought is it won't just be absorbed into snow (the ice will stop it), so it may just all lay on top for awhile. what a mess it's all going to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then it is to get cold again........so I may be inviting everyone over for ice skating since our entire lawn could be a frozen lake. LOL

Lots of snow here last weekend - a good 15" or so for the entire weekend. Wisconsin doesn't see that kind of snow often! And it was thundering and lightening during the snow storm too! Yikes! Today it's been a freezing mix all day with rumors of more rain coming soon. WTF?

June sounds good to me Debi. I don't remember a winter here where we have had so many cloudy days in a row...it's driving me insane. Pleeeeaseeeeeeeeeeee.............some sunshine would be really nice about right now!!!!!!! I pray that it will be nice and sunny when we go to Vegas in April.

YIKES....it sounds like you're getting the crazy weather also. My neighbors are from Wisconsin...I'm not sure what part though.
