I would agree with Lab.

Whatever he's mixed with, he is absolutely adorable.

LOL thanks. Riley is a girl though :). Well we adopted her at the local shelter who told us she was yellow lab but she doesnt look pure bred to me. It doesnt matter but I was just curious what else she might look like.

It is hard to tell right now

Labs come in a lot of different shapes and sizes. They have been breed by a lot of people with a lot of different levels of experience. Yesterday at the dog park there were two chocolate lbas, my girl Kona, who is short squat and about 55 lbs. Next to her was the other chocolate lab who was almost as big as my Great Dane Lucy. He was easily 120 lbs with a long face and a long body.

Riley looks like a american yellow lab to me at this stage.

A lot of the sighthounds have ears that do that, too (they are my favorite kind of ears:) ) It's hard to tell from that picture - what is her body like?

She looks a lot like one of the dogs from work. I mean, a puppy version of one of the dogs from work. Agree?

Maybe they're a similar mix. Part lab for sure. Her other half is written on her contract, but I'm not sure what it is offhand.

Edit:
Ohh, well actually Riley's face isn't as narrow as the dog in my pics. Maybe not, then.

Looks purebred to me - just poorly bred (or at least not "conformation" bred)...

She's cute either way! Congrats on the new addition :D

Not purebred Lab IMO. I'd guess Lab and some sort of Shepherd or Collie. Maybe Aussie.

Definitely LOTS of Lab in her. The ears are the major giveaway of either a "not so great" breeding or a mix of something else. Do her ears ever lay down or are they always pulled back or up?
Our females ears will go pull back when she's upset about something but otherwise they just hang there like any other Labs ears would. I'd say post some more pics if you can.

This is probably the most worthless response on this thread, but she looks part sweetie, and the other part darling!!!! :)

Oh, and definitely golden lab...with something else thrown in there that will be hard to identify. :lol-sign:

When I first saw her piccy, Lab is what immediately struck me. But she does look like she's got some pit in her. I would bet it's a grandparent or great-grandparent though, rather than a parent. More pics would help. :D
