I'm so relieved for them. Newark has one of the highest crime rates in the country. It wasn't wise to leave something so valuable unattended. I'm sure they know that now and will never again put their dogs at risk. Those poor Corgis would have likely had a miserable, abused life had they not been rejected by the thief (or the person the thief gave the dogs to). Hopefully they'll be charges filed. Those dogs were very valuable and surely it wouldn't take much detective work to figure out who actually broke into that vehicle. Either the woman herself, or someone close to her.

How weird... the articles says the shelter didn't have the woman's name, but they did go to her house to pick the dogs up, so they know where she lives I guess. I hope they charge her with something. Ugh.

I'm so glad they're home! Poor little pups. =(

I don't understand who would steal a dog, who is obviously very well cared for and loved, from some one's car... that is about as low as you can get.

What a relieve they were home now, I heard an incident here about dog stealing near a store, the dog was Dober and he was able to escape and run into his owner to the store, the man said he's just looking at him. Better be watching all the time.

GREAT! I can only imagine what it's like to have your dog go missing, whether it's stolen or lost...........

Glad they are back safe and sound!
