While I do have an appointment w/ a breeder (not the breeder of my dog, though, so again kudos to her for help!!) to help do me do some other things, surely I will be training alone, and never to early to start. There fore, maybe a little written explanation if anyone has any?

I have a bully..she is 9 weeks old, and full of fire!
We have started taking her everywhere in the car, and basic commands are being used, but not being overwhelmed. She has a wonderful, outgoing attitude and thus far (ok, only been a week, and it is teething time..OUCH!) we are having a blast! Shortly we will start the crate training, and I mean only that it is NOT a bad thing. I do not crate, other than at shows, therefore, she will need to learn it. Lead training will begin this week.

I have been told they are a ramp breed? How does one do that? I have only been familiar with table breeds/shown table breeds, and have shown one larger breed, who obviously - showed on the ground.

Do they have a particular placement (feet)?
Is there a certain way I should teach her to start standing or are they more natural?
Is there anything else specific I should do?
(we have everyone who meets her, after sanitizing, touch in the face, feel the body, look in the mouth(well the people we know do that), and all of the other things that we normally do with our table breed).

Is there a book that is recommended? I believe I have a basic one (on the breed).

I also did contact the BCA, however, without a sponser, have to be considered, and the app. is on it's way. so I am, also going that avenue.

Any help/advice/etc is appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

As many shows as we have been to - I have never seen the ramp. Thats how close minded I have been in my alternate breed. Ah well.. it'll be nice to venture down from the table and up from the ground and onto the ramp!

Not every show has ramps.. It's judges choice. Premium usually will tell you if it's being used. So teach your dog to stack ramp and floor.
