Recently, my system files and database files have appeared in folders, if that makes sense.
Like in 'my received files' there are album art files and in most folders there are database files.
I've put a pic of them below, they're kinda more transparent than normal files.
I have Windows XP Home and haven't been downloading anything out of the ordinary.
If anyone could tell me why they are there or how to get rid of them without messing everything up it would be appreciated.
Thanks. :)

If they are sort of transparent they are hidden files. The album art is probably stuff that downloads when you play music files. Are database files called thumbs.db? Those are a database of thumbnail images of the larger images in those folders.

You somehow set your tools/folder options/view to show hidden files. If you don't want to see those folders just do tools/folder options, clicke the view tab, and check the button that says do not show hidden files.
