I looked at all of the colleges that have been mentioned so far. Right now I am pretty interested in Eckerd College. It's in Flordia, which isn't too far away, and it's right on the water. More importantly though, it seems to have good academic programs and one page of the websight said that more students are addmitted into medical feilds from Eckerd than many large universities. They also have a pre-Vetrinary medicine path. Then I could just transfer to a vetrinary school after I got my batchlor's degree. Of course I have a few more years of research before I make any type of definate decision, but it's a start. Thanks everyone.

From Eckerd College, if you want to stay in the Southeast, both the University of Georgia and the University of Florida have vet schools. Naturally, I would choose my alma mater, University of Georgia!!

I couldn't find any info on either of their vetrinary programs. So far I'm looking at Eckerd college for a bachlors degree, and Purdue University for Vet school.
