:rofl1: Dizzy, last night, we were up making grilled cheese sandwiches at 3:30am (well I was making them, since his grilled cheese sandwiches = FAIL!!!)
See, look, you're practically at one already ;)

I don't see living with someone as a great big OMG WOW like some people do... If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Do it when you feel you WANT to do it, and be sure the feeling is one of optimism and excitement rather than worry and anxiety.

I can't wait to move in with my other half. I spend weekends here, and I've been here for a full week this week, and we manage fine. I know the things already which will grate us - he's quite particular (if you're going to do something it has to be done RIGHT) and I'm quite lazy :D

We just cleared out the store cupboard together in preparation for me moving in (don't get excited, don't even have a job here yet). This boy can HOARD. But we got through it fine.

It's like any relationship - TALK to each other. Even about the yakky things you don't really want to talk about. Just say it... and if they're the right one, they'll listen.

:D

Wet blanket here. Going to be 61 in a few months. Married twice, one for 12 yrs and then 22 yrs. I ended both, and now that I am alone - it's the happiest I've been in my life. Maybe it's selfishness, not answering or justifying my statements/actions - I feel more alive, strong. I guess it just wasn't for me.

It's like ruining a good recipe. Some ingredient makes a dish wonderful, so you add more thinking it will be even better, but it actually ruins the dish.

To this day, the thing that really infuriated me about my last 'victim' was the fact the filthy sob never washed his hands after going to the bathroom. It's hard to believe how much wasted time was spent on this subject!

Hope it works out well for you if you decide to proceed. :)

Thanks :)

I've havent been in a relationship since I was in my early to mid 20's and Im 32 now, during that time, I had a BLAST being single and doing my own thing, and IMO its something that everyone needs..

I took time to find myself and figure out what I want, and those years were well worth it, and I found that at this point in my life, I want something different, something real and something beyond just the physical and I've found that, and honestly I couldn't be any happier with my life and the way things are going right now :)
