Clipping those darn nails..

Okay, so Faris has the lovely black nails and I HATE clipping them, as does he hate getting them trimmed. I bought a more expensive clippers but I feel like that is even more dangerous than the smaller cheaper versions because it is soo sharp. Anyone buy the "peticure" I see advertised on TV, or have another electric type filer? What do you think is the best way to trim our pals' nails? Thanks for the help. Shari

I just use a Dremel on my two -I have one with those thick black nails of doom as well. I hated clipping her nails so much so that we used to take her to a groomer just to get them clipped. It was about $15 each time, not a big deal, but the dremel was only about $40 -so it paid for itself in less than three months.
I just started off slowly getting them used to the noise and then only doing a couple of nails each time and worked my way up to doing all of them. Now it takes me just a few minutes each time.

My clippers are so dull !!! I took Ollie in for his yearly check up this week and they cut his nails for nothing !
