yup, im listening to it. feel free to think im crazy, i dont care. I cannot wait to put up the Christmas tree and hang the mistletoe (and see how many times I can catch William standing under it)
I cant wait for the hot applecider and the shopping, and watching it snow.

as the song i am listening to says... " let it snow, let it snow, let it snoooow"

so, now I ask of you... what is your favorite Christmas song? I really dont know, I love them all... I have been known to listen to Christmas CD's in July....

(hint hint for my secret santa person) I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC, just not like the chipmunks singing it. I like REAL music.

Right now I have Joe Nichols playing... before I had Silent Night by Boyz II Men going (which is amazing by the way)

In fact, when William was born, (December 4th) I had my Joe Nichols CD playing throughout the day in my hospital room during my entire stay. Everyone just loved to come into my room becuase it was soooo peacefull and as they said " full of love"

My birthday is Monday and I would just LOVE it if it snowed!! Too bad, I know it wont happen.... it's supposed to rain a lot, but no snow....

OMG YOU ARE MY SOUL MATE!!!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE listening to christmas music, any time of the year!! Its just so joyous music and how can one be angry while singing jingle bells, I ask you , how?!

My fav. christmas song... oh such a hard one... hmm if I had to choose, probably Jingle Bell Rock. Just love it!

I def. cant wait to start decorating. I always make a attempt to put up lights and such, but it never looks good. I did have the mechanical raindeer, but they got tore up in the move.

Darn it, now you have me in the Christmas spirit. didnt help that the florist lady had a acutal christmas tree out already.

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree.. how I cant wait to put you upppp

I do like the get up and dance type Christmas music, but I LOVE the slow music, like Silver Bells, Let it Snow, Away in a Manger.

I am in the Process of writing a Myspace blog about my listening to Christmas music, that was basically going to be just what i wrote here, but it has become soooo much more, my views on the holiday and stuff... I'm going to post it here.

Ok here is my blog!

So, here I am, October 6th, (well, actually it's the 7th becuase it's after midnight)

I am listening to my MP3 player and yup, you guessed it... CHRISTMAS MUSIC! Now, you can call me crazy, insane, or whatnot.... but if you know me, you know it's not entirely out of the question for me to listen to Christmas tunes in July. I adore teh Christmas season. No, it's not just for the presents... Christmas is a magical time! No, not becuase of Santa, but becuase of the love and the tradition. Although, what's the harm in letting yourself believe in Santa, even if, only for a moment. It's such a shame that people these days seem to lose the meaning of Christmas. Now, you dont have to be all religious about it, even though, that is what Christmas is, but I believe that Christmas can be enjoyed without religion if that is your preferance. While I do go to church on Christmas eve for the program, I am not overly religious about the holiday. For me, Christmas is about love. More-so than Valentines day, Christmas is a time to show your family and loved ones how much you care about them.

I love the tradition of Christmas and if I could, my tree would be up this very moment. My favorite thing to do is to turn on some Christmas music, light up that tree, turn off the lights in the house and lay on the floor and experience the wonderul feelings. And, yes, I do let myself believe in Santa, especially at those times!

While we dont go all out with decorating for the holiday, we do put up a tree (all decorated with Silver and Purple and a big glittery Silver star on top) and hang stockings. And this year, I am going to hang some Mistletoe and see how many times I can catch William under it! I cant wait!

So, to everyone out there....

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

I love Christmas too..... my daughter was born on December 25th!! We have a tradition like many others... we don't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas decorations and Christmas music. And I especially love watching all the Christmas movies.

For the last few years I've been hooked on that Alabama Christmas song... Christmas in Dixie. I just love that song and could listen to it on repeat over and over again.. but my family gets mad when I pull that cd out because they get sick of me playing one song repetitevely..lol.

As far as the traditional Christmas songs... it is so hard to choose. But I do love Jingle Bell Rock, Holly Jolly Christmas, Baby it's cold outside, Oh gosh, I could go on and on.

I love the smell of the pumkin spice and baked apple pie candles I light. And of course all the wrapping and excitement of sharing gifts. It really is such a magical time of year in our house. It's hard to keep the excitement contained.

What is your favorite Christmas movie? As far as the animated ones go.. I would most definately say the Year Without A Santa Clause. And for the actual movies... I think it's a toss up between It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street.

Gaaahhhh..... it's too soon for me to be thinking about Christmas already. This was not a good thread for me to read...lolol.

I actually don't like Christmas. I know.. call me crazy. In fact, I dread Christmas.

I might like "silent night" though.

I love Christmas and listening to Christmas music. I have to make it past Halloween first. Barely able to make it past Thanksgiving and then it is on. :D The station that I used to listen to at work would change over to 24/7 Christmas music somewhere like right after Halloween. Fine with me. But, the was USED to. They switched formats last week and now I have to find another station. Usually the others don't play until a week before. I might go into withdrawals or have to pack up all of my CD's everynight.Oh by the way- I can't pick a favorite. I love them all. But my top one I think is probably O Holy Night.

I adore all the Christmas movies. "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown" - such a classic! And of course the Ruodoplh the red nose raindeer. Just about every christmas movie does it for me. I love the family channels " 25 days of Christmas" marathon. They play about almost every Christmas movie made during those 25 days.

*starts saving up for gifts now*

I've already started shopping. :) and that makes the holiday much less stressful when it's truly here.

I looooooooove that candy cane avatar.. did you make it yourself? Can I steal it? LOL

Anywho, my favorite song is Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.... I could sing that one any day of the week. :) But my general rule about Christmas music is that it has to be chilly, or it just doesn't feel right. (Ryan, you're gonna cream me for that one, huh?)

I've had Christmas on the brain since I read this thread yesterday. I was at work last night and someone said something about shooting an eye out or something like that. And instantly I remembered something. I failed to mention that my absolute FAVORITE Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. It's a wonderful life and miracle on 34th street are the runner ups. I can't believe I forgot about that movie when I said which ones were my favorite.

"I want a red ryder BB gun" "No Ralphie... you'll shoot your eye out!"

I can't wait to pull that movie out and watch it... woo hoo
