Sporting: German Shorthaired Pointers. I used to have no interest at all in this breed... until I met a few at the hotel. I have fallen in love with them! They are such sweet, intelligent, soulful dogs. Very human like.

Hound: Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen. These dogs are beyond adorable... and they have the most hilarious personalities. It might also be their shortness that wins me over.

Herding: Border Collies. Corgis. and Collies. Hey, Paige did a tie too! I love all three of these breeds. If I had to pick just one, it would probably be Cardigan Welsh Corgis, because they just make me melt into goo.

Toy: ALL TOY DOGS ARE USELESS jkjkjkjk!!!!! I love toy dogs. I work with primarily toy breeds every day, and they are always making me laugh. :) I adore Chinese Cresteds of the Powderpuff variety. But I love many others, including Papillons, Chihuahuas, and Poms.

Terrier: Bull Terriers. I love these dogs, I love their goofiness and their intensity at the same time. And they are so stunning to look at.

Non-Sporting: Schipperkes. It's between them and Frenchies. These dogs are way too cute, and super sassy. They should be in the herding group imo.

Working: Siberian Huskies. Are stunning, beautiful, hilarious, intelligent, and they can be super sweet if you win them over. I love these dogs despite their quirks.

Am I the only one here who didnt name their own breed!!!?
I named one of mine that I've had in the past, and one I have currently.
But I didn't name Rottweiler or Labrador, which Pete has in him, or Beagle which is a breed we've owned for YEARS.
Our current Beagle is an old hag...but sadly she's on her last leg, and will have to be let go soon. :(

I didn't name my past dogs- Shelties and GSDs simply because I like bcs better in that group, but I still love shelties and GSDs too. And labradors I didn't name either just because we're a bad match.

I only named the breeds I have now because we've actually found two breeds that suit us and that I absolutely adore. Dobes are definitely my forever breed, and I'll hopefully always have one Toller as well (I love Tollers just as much but a good one is hard to find so I've learned since getting Dance). I didn't name my past breeds (Rottweilers and Dachshunds), because as much as I loved those dogs, I won't seek out another. :)

I didn't mention Springer or Labrador or Newfie. I will never get another Springer because much as I love Taz he just doesn't suit me personality wise.

Lab and Newfie are just a little laid back for me and springer is too much lol.
